I got an issue with 2 blinks on model KD-60X690E. Does anyone have the service manual?

2 blinks is usually a power supply fault.

You need to give the voltage readings on the connectors as shown on the pcb

I replaced the main board and it fixed it. It was really odd because the service manual said it was the power supply

What voltage do you have at BL_ON at connector CN200

Do you have all the other supplies 5V and 12.7V

What voltage do you have on the pins of CN306 as you power up. The voltage may shoot up and drop just as quickly.

Too late, I already sent it out to my client months ago. Main board replacement fixed it.

This model, most likely has a wide-spread problem with the main board!

In 2018, my sister received one and it was unusable, according to her. It was broken when it was brand new, in our eyes!

Hi dick_barton Thank You for the quick reply. I have 5 volts standby on Cn201. Everything else did not have voltage; even the Acd on the set. I bypassed standby votage to Ps on and T/con on and Bl on with jumper wirers. Then I got 12 volts on T con Cn200 and all the 12 volt on Cn201. No voltage on Cn300 for back light and I have power on C306, C304 and C303 CAP. So what should be the volatage on ACd?

If you are testing the power supply them disconnect it from the mainboard. Use a 1K resistor and connect between the 5V standby and PS_On and a second 1K resistor between 5V standby and BL_On and see if the backlights come up

No voltage on Cn300 for back light and I have power on C306, C304 and C303 CAP. So what should be the volatage on ACd?

What's the voltage rating on those 3 capacitors.
What was the result of the test suggested in post #11

                            Also

I see that the positive connection of those 3 capacitors connect to CN300 so I don't understand why you say you have no voltage at CN300

The backlight is made up of 10 strips (5 type A and 5 Type B) each having 5 leds per strip so a total of 50 leds
If the leds are 3V type then the 155V @ 0.5A as written on the power supply would indicate they are all connected in series (50 * 3.1V = 155V)

The 118V that you measure would seem to indicate that the BL_ON has not been activated to boost the supply up to the required 155V
or that you have an issue around the led driver or an led fault.

i would suggest first remove load from the main boards and turn it on to see the 2 blinks remain 2 or more or it cleared.. for example remove the Tuner socket .... disconnect WiFi module. also disconnect the LVDS between main boards & T-CON ..

There could be no gate voltage for a number of reasons.
Faulty mosfet, faulty led driver IC, or led driver IC not enabled ie no BL_On asserted.

I wonder if your original main board was not sending the backlight enable signal to the backlight control / led driver circuit.

                                        by Taurus12
Does anyone have an idea of what might be the issue with my 3050 micro? I have tried replacing new cmos battery but still the same

I am not sure if its the powersupply that I'm using is the issue since its the original powersupply. its a laptop powersupply with the same specifications with the 3050 micro so i guess it should be fine.

i also tried replacing the bios but with no avail, everytime i try another bios it gives a different blinking lights

Any recommendation on what I have to do next? Thanks in advance

                                        Hi everyone,

I'm working on a MacBook Air 2020 (A2337, board 820-02016) and running into a strange USB-C issue. I've gone through quite a bit of testing and part replacement, but I'm stuck — hoping someone here can shed some light.

                                        🛠 Original Issue
                                        The machine initially wouldn't negotiate 20V over USB-C — stuck at 5V.
Diagnosis showed PP1V5_UPC0_LDO_CORE shorted to ground.

I replaced U3100 (UF400) using a donor board (A2179), and the machine powers on fine now.

Three 820-01700 32GB Logic Boards Same Issue: Won't Wake From Hibernate
                                        by ugamazing
I have three identical-spec 820-01700 boards (2.6/32/512), and ALL THREE boards came to us with the same fault, from different sources: The boards don't wake from hibernation with the keyboard or lid, they ONLY wake when you press the power button. I understand this is a very minor issue, but the boards must be fixed!

We will of course begin with the obvious (checking lid signals), but I couldn't help but notice these three boards were all 32GB variants. Has anyone noticed an issue relating to these 32GB boards in particular? I of course don't think it's a RAM issue, but it's bizarre...

                                        Hello guys!
I have a strange issue with my laptop keyboard and I'm lost trying to detect what's wrong - the KB9028Q-C or the keyboard itself.
It powers on OK and has no other issues except the following:
                                        • CAPS LOCK does not work at all
                                        • Fn button toggles Flight Mode
                                        • When I press 't' or '5', it produces 't5', and when I press 'y' or '6', it produces 'y6'
                                        • (with SHIFT pressed: 't%' and 'y^' respectively)
I initially thought it was a keyboard malfunction (internal short, etc.),
but when I press and hold...

Marantz SR5007 popping on volume change and mute in Direct Mode
                                        by BigOof
                                        Hi,

I bought a used Marantz SR5007 and it's giving me some issues that I can't seem to really place. It functions well in most settings, ARC mostly works, it has no issues driving my speakers in any of the digital input modes, but I'm having issues running analog inputs in direct or pure direct mode. For some reason in this mode there's distortion for every volume increment I give it, but once the volume is stable it has no issues. Muting creates a loud pop, switching to another source also causes a pop and so does turning off the amp in that mode. Again, no issue in the digital modes....
