Samsung LE37R88BD Bad T-con? picture lagging ghosting

Just thought I'd quickly write this one up!

    T-con - T370XW02 V5 CB 06A69-1A
    Main - BN41-00813B-MP1.0
    PSU - BN44-00157A (PSLF231501A)
    Invertor bd - 4H.V1448.481/C1

Ghosting, laggy, colour distortion, dark picture

    Vgama readings from T-con:
    1 - 15.4v
    2 - 15.27v
    3 - 13.49v
    4 - 12.3v
    5 - 11.45v
    6 - 10.84v
    7 - 10.84v
    8 - 10.18v
    9 - 9.92v
    10 - 7.53v
    11 - 7.34v
    12 - 6.84v
    13 - 6.94v
    14 - 8.13v
    15 - 8.29v
    16 - 8.48v
    17 - 8.71v
    18 - 9.01v
    19 - 9.31v
    20 - 9.75v
    21 - 11.10v
    22 - 11.15v

Not quite sure if these readings confirm its the AS15-F thats faulty on the T-con but they are similar readings to another thread where the AS15 was recommended to be replaced but no outcome was posted so not fully conclusive unfortunately.

    Could someone please confirm.

A few caps were replaced on the PSU, 2 x 1000uf, 1 x 820uf and a 470uf as they were beginning to bulge.

If confirmed I shall order a couple of AS15-F's and see how I get on replacing it with heat pad and heat gun though I need to practise more with these tools.

    Thanks guys!

Yes, those readings are off. When you write heat gun do you mean a hot air station or something for stripping paint ?
If you've not done one before the easiest way would be to use some chipquik and an iron.
The AS15-F is sensitive to heat

      Yes sorry, hot air station!

I also now see that the readings are off!, from about Vgama13.

That's ok, I was just checking, 6 and 7 shouldn't be the same either.

VIZIO E70-E3 Half picture with half TCON
            by Fly_Among_Stars
            Hi,
            I have a VIZIO E70-E3.
Symptoms: Black screen, no picture, but LED backlights are working.
I probed the power board and voltages are as listed on the board.
            Main board appears fine, too.
I believe the problem is either a bad T-CON board, or connection to LCD, or bad LCD.
There are two separate ribbon cables feeding the LCD.
If both are connected, the screen is black.

If only the ribbon cable that feeds the right side of the screen (when viewed from the front) is disconnected, the left side of the screen shows picture and...

Samsung LCD TV no picture backlight on no 12v at tcon
            by shelby5041
            hi
i have a samsung lcd tv

it powers on with sound and backlight but no picture

all voltages from PS are good 12v 3.3v and 5v

whats odd is that at the tcon i tested voltage across the fuse on the tcon and i get 0v

i figured main board issue..so i ordered a used main board....when i put replacement main board in i still have same issue

no 12v at the tcon fuse

i disconnect the panel ribbon cables to rule out any panel issues and i still have no 12v at the tcon fuse

            the odds of having 2...

TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?
            by x_orange90_x
Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)
            by Tr0ll
Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

            Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

            First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
            by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

            Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...
