We had to change our backlight repair policy to see if we can safely pull the new Samsung Qled panels with the Bezeless design due to the panel being held in with adhesive strips like Sony likes to do. The minute Yuppie Scum goes to mount that Tv over his FIREPLACE with a ambient temperature about 100 degree F or more he'll see that panel adhesive give way and start bowing like this fool. When I saw that I refused the repair and ran as fast as I could. We won't do backlight repairs on any Tv that does not have a bezel to hold the panel in. Look at the angle this fool had on this Tv and with that much heat I'm surprised the panel is not sitting on his floor by now. 2 year old Tv. I feel sorry for him cause Samsung wouldn't do anything for him. I suggested to put it back on the stand and find a different location. I never recommend putting any Tv over a fireplace. But that's the way Yuppie Scum is designing these new Preppy Homes nowadays. Pitiful

I have a Samsung Qled bezeless TV, however I've just been sitting on it until I can figure out a way to safely remove the lcd without damaging it. Any suggestions or tutorial would be appreciated.

my curiosity: in the USA you have so many pretty things... but why you have still the same ugly wall electrical sockets since the '60s?Comment

Re: Any Samsung Qled Bezeless Backlight repairs BEWARE
Samsung quality has really gone down hill since the MU series and and the newer models are designed to fail prematurely and engineered to make it harder to repair even for seasoned technicians. Don't use the first video as a example on how to remove your panel. The second video is a panel repair facility with very expensive panel repair laser soldering machines that are not at our disposal but it does give you a example on how panels can be repaired when tab bonds are damaged. On the bezeless designed tv's the bottom of the panel fits down into a thin bezel and the other 3 sides use a wide strip of 3M two way adhesive to hold the panel down to the chassis. Even though it looks nice it's a recipe for disaster. Welcome to the world of todays Samsung engineering. MU series=bad panels...NU series=could be a array of poor quality problems. RU and TU series=usually bad backlights or poor quality power supplies and mains, as well as more shorts on the panel driver boards. QN series use surge happy power supplies, mains, and more panel driver shorts. Heaven help you if you have any backlight problem on the new NEO led Tv's after your warranty is up. And now they are admitting to the use of a Tv Blocker App secretly embedded onto your software where they can remotely brick your tv whenever they want. Do you really trust them to use it responsibly? A look at Samsung's reputation for being corrupt is a hint. Buyer beware and for all those that have newer Samsung's keep Auto Update off on software version updates. It's a shame because they have nice picture quality but designed to fail in 2 to 3 years now. Shameful.Comment

Re: Any Samsung Qled Bezeless Backlight repairs BEWARE
They are engineered for cheapness and ease of assembly, nothing to do with repair, they replace boards under warranty not LEDs.
Please remember some counties have good consumer laws and 6 year warranties. It makes no sense to make TVs they will have to replace during warranty.
Also no "TV blocker app". They put out a message informing those that had stolen a warehouse full of Samsung TVs they would be useless as their serial number was recorded. They are rendering stolen goods useless. Just the same as if some phones had been stolen.Comment

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r... -
by BatataHello everybody,
my TV has a problem. It keeps turning on and off. The speakers are still working, and I hooked up the TV to my PC, and it recognizes it as a Samsung device. I am able to get a stable backlight when I disconnect the cable(I believe it is called the LVDS cable) that connects the left lower board (which is connected to the "main board") and the right lower board. I have tried a taping method I saw on YouTube, where the CLK cables are taped off. In fact, I proceeded to figure out which pin I have to tape off in order to get a stable backlight. It doesn't matter... -
by TakeatrySamsung QLED QN50Q — purchased 2022 started experiencing a delay in the picture coming on in the morning less than 2 years later. Did not know the term boot loop at that time. As the loop delay ran into a few minutes did all the recommended troubleshooting, soft and hard reset, changing cables and outlet locations, no help. As the delay increased contacted Samsung tech group and allow them remote access the tv. Tech was moving too fast to see exactly what he was doing but this ultimately it was also no help. Lived with the delay until it stretched out over 6 hours. Pulled of off the back cover...2 Photos
