Please can someone help me?

I flashed a v3 firmware (17mb130 v3.62.73 https://files.fm/u/vdteeuch) for Vestel 17mb130 and now my TV is stuck in standby mode.

The correct firmware I need was 17mb130 Full V.5.7.20.0

I only found out after using translating some Turkish websites that I could not do this. Is there any hope for my TV?

The mode and serial are:
LT-49C890(A)

The software I flashed was: 17MB130 full V3.62.73
The Software I needed to flash was 17MB130 Full V.5.7.20.0

Then will not boot after. Only flashing standby light.

I have all these files backed up but nothing more.

Is this reparable?

I have been on the forums again in Turkey and they say I can service it by changing flash?

Is that the process of changing the eeprom chip on the 17mb130?

I will also have a replacement board but I have purchased it for the wrong panel... I am such a rookie it's laughable.

see if you can find a firmware dump for your board. Take the eeprom off the board, program the IC with a programmer (like a TL866), then put it back on.

Thank you, I tried this file but I get an error when flashing at about %37.

I am using a different board I purchased now. So I just need to get the TV to recognize my Panel.

I have the same board but for panel VES 40 UHD. SO some how I need to fix that?

Can I do it witht he files I show in my uploaded image?

How did you proceed? When updated with this software does not show the percentage.

I purchased a new 17mb130 board but the panels do not match :-(

So now I need to somehow get my panel to display in 492 4k uhd. But it's split the JVC logo, and the menu does not fit on the screen correctly.

From my files in the image I uploaded and I fix this board? I think I just need the original firmware but I don't have that.

Unplug the eeprom / flash memories from the old board and reload the new board.
The soft full update is done with the OK key pressed.

I have tools but I am only capable of soldering larger components.

Have you tried the above software?
1. Unzip
2. Put the 4 files on the stick with FAT32
3. Insert the stick into the TV
4. Press and hold the OK key on the remote control (towards TV)
5. Plug the TV into the socket
6 The stb LED blinks slowly then quickly
7 Release OK
8. Wait for it to finish. It can take up to 5-10 minutes.

4. Press and hold the OK key on the remote control (towards TV)
5. Plug the TV into the socket
6 The stb LED blinks slowly then quickly
7 Release OK
8. Wait for it to finish. It can take up to 5-10 minutes.

This one Bricked the second board I purchased :-(

No worries, I purchased another one and it's all working except I have a message on my display preventing me from accessing the menu without entering an activation code.

Do you know if there is a way to bypass this?
