Teac (Vestel) 55” LED tv wont turn on.

So I recently purchased a Teac 55” LED tv manufactured by Vestel thinking it would be an easy fix, turns out I bit off more than I can chew but im still staying positive and hoping it is something I can fix and learn something from.

So basically it has a standby red indicator and when powered on it starts to blink, back light comes on after 10 seconds and nothing happens from there. Just continues to blink and backlight stays on.

I inspected the power supply and all the capacitors are fine etc and diodes test out okay (I think, still learning how these work) just wondering what I should be looking at/testing next or if its more likely to be an issue with the mainboard.

The power supply is a 17IPS72 and the main board is 17MB130S

    Any help is much appreciated!!

Start with #3 below, as always BE VERY CAREFUL when working with powerboard, DEADLY VOLTAGE on the HOT side.

Hi how should I go about testing the main board as the connector is 12pin but in two rows of 6 so it is difficult to measure voltage on the leads on the bottom row.

yours are 17MB130S which can handle 3D .. its share at many other brand TV such Toshiba..
            Telefunken & vestel too.

its firmware build on 3 section
1- MBOOT.bin responsible on boot MB driver (this section could be corrupted at you )
            2- MFC.bin T-CON Screen driver
3-INIT.bin software and other stuff of smart and apps.

search after firmware.. complete or part to flash it again.

So I gave up for a while and came back, managed to find firmware, which i thought was suitable. Installed it etc and now the tv boots up to language select and freezes. Do you think its likely I have the wrong firmware or there is an issue regarding the main board.

Troubleshooting Vestel TV, has standby, but cannot turn ON
                  by Adenitz
                  Hello,
I need advice in troubleshooting Telefunken TV (it is actually Vestel). There is red Standby light but TV cannot be turned on either by remote control (which is good and tested on another TV) or by actual on/off switch at the back of the TV.
Power board is Vestel 17IPS71 and I'm not sure about the mainboard, it seems like 17MB82S
Both boards are shown in the attached photos.

What is normally first that is checked in this case. I have removed power board, make sure it has no dangerous voltage on the big caps and check many components (transistors and diodes)...

MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX (MS-16R6) LAPTOP WON'T TURN ON AFTER RESTARTING
                  by RdeveLabs
                  To all the members here...

Let me tell you a little bit about what happened to my laptop (MSI GF63 THIN 11UCX model: MS-16R6) that “maybe” you know how to solve this problem.

So before this problem happened, my laptop was running smoothly. When I wanted to restart my laptop, it looked fine at first. But after I waited for this restart process to take a long time, until finally I panicked (because the restart process did not finish plus the laptop screen only showed a black screen), I immediately pressed and held the power button to force the laptop to turn off. But...

Acer Aspire 4520 won't turn on after reboot
                  by robante15
Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 4520 from a couple of decades ago and I want to repair it solely for nostalgia.

It happens that when I turn it on after having been disconnected for a long time, it turns on without problems, it tells me that the BIOS has been reset and that it will load the factory settings, if I tell it to continue, the computer turns on and everything works fine.

The moment I turn it off and want to turn it back on a second time, or restart it and try to start it again, it no longer gives an image, and it no longer responds.

                  If I remove the...
