This set has no BL. I can see the display using a flashlight. There is no audio because I can't tell what input it is on. My question is there is 247v on the connector going to the back lights. That seems very high. Could the LEDS be open? Using a SJ Led tester, it stays on 333v also and no backlights. Does anyone know what is used in this set for LEDs?

You will get a lot more help if you upload good clear pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards so we see what we are dealing with.Never stop learning

Re: Haier 49UF2500
Just repaired a 55UFC2500. Curved but panel is actually flat and flexed to fit in the curved chassis. Had one LED open. You need to keep the picture mode to Energy Saving (50%). Vivid is 100% and will burn out the backlights. Backlight can be set in service menu under panel settings (menu-1-1-4-7) with tv on. I find Energy Saving a little low so set to 65 which is saved in User mode. Need to do this on all inputs.Last edited by neilc6; 11-17-2019, 09:48 AM.Comment

by nubinatorHello I have TCL 65S4 and it has no backlight, seems common problem on this tv to have bad LED's. I have no tester though I thought I could just test each LED with 2xAA batteries for 3v but it doesnt light up at all?
I saw a vid with LED tester on this TV and it had 130v for 1 good line which is 24 LEDs does that mean it needs around 5.5v per LED? -
by PipolupsHi there !
I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...10-08-2024, 11:58 AM -
by lmcancuHi I am having an issue with the LED backlight of this TV. I can see the picture with a flash light, so I determined it was a backlight issue.
Initially, after opening it I found 2 shorted and 1 open LED on 2 strips (total of 4). I removed the LEDs and shorted the pads together to verify if the backlight would work.
Testing it, I found the backlight turned on and I measured 54V when TV was in standby (off), and 100v when TV was turned on. The 4 strips each contain 9 LEDs, so 36 in all minus 3.
Instead of putting it back together I decided to replace... -
by LifeisfunHi folks!
I have some kind of memory problem on Lenovo laptop. I was initially able to install windows after several tries since the laptop did freeze in middle of those attempts.
Eventually I discovered that it was related to moving the laptop.
Later on it even stopped booting unless I pressed around the memory slot. (no keyboard LEDs only power button responds)
If I remove the RAM I get the beeps that RAM is missing. Inserting the RAM there is silence and it will not boot most of the time. No picture.
I removed the board got one of those memory slot testers... -
Hi friends
I have reverse engineered this tester, schematic is attached and is complete except for capacitor values. These testers annoyingly have no model number but they are the ones you find on the first page of just about any website if you type in "18650 4-channel tester". There is also a 2-channel variant and a newer 8-channel variant. They are very cheap (about £15) and can measure voltage, current, internal resistance and capacity. They have a multicolour display for all these statistics. They also have terminal blocks so that if you want to use a breakout board... - Loading...
