Hisense 65" led is blinking

Hi guys,

I just fixed a totally not working tv.

Tv model is LTDN65K560XWAU3D.

After I connected it to the wall I have noticed that is blinking slightly.
What is usually the cause for a blinking tv except caps?

What is blinking ? If it's the screen it could be a failing LED, does it change if you turn the brightness down ?

It didn't work at all. then I fixed it but now the screen is blinking.

See if you have a backlight setting and turn it down see if anything changes.

I want to mention that the TV is lighting up and I can see movies and etc, but it is flickering very slightly but I do see everything.
I have a video of it, how can I upload it to show you guys?

Would likely mean problem in backlight circuit, most likely faulty/marginal leds.

See if you can check the backlight level in menu somewhere, odds are it's set to max, which will make the leds burn out prematurely, best to set it as low as you can, that still gives you a decent picture.

If I recall those particular fixes have to do with the jumper was not suppose to be there, you can usually tell by the board, right by or under the jumper the jumper marking will be cut in half, which means the jumper isn't suppose to be there in this application.

That is the problem that I have but not that worse.

Cutting jumper for that Samsung is NOT A FIX, it removes the protection circuit that kicks in due to low PFC Boosted Voltage which is due to bad resistor network that has drift in value.

Did you turn the backlights NOT BRIGHTNESS down?

Turned the backlights to minimum and it helped.

It mean that some of my leds are burnt?

I want to fix it completely before I reassemble the TV.

Yes, as suspected a failing LED. You'll need to strip the panel out to get to the strips.

I just want to be sure, if I had only one LED burnt then the TV wouldn't turn on at all, am I right?
because my TV do turn on and I don't want to open the whole TV for nothing.

I fixed once a TV where the LG logo was blinking but the TV did turn on. 4 LEDs were burnt.

Seems like it's in the backlight circuit somewhere, it may just be a loose connection, could be weak/bad led/s but I think it's in that circuit someplace.

Es posible algun LED este a punto de dañarse... tendrias que desmontar la pantalla y testear cada led con 3 o 6 voltios dependiendo del tipo de led y ver su consumo
