    Samsung un46B6000 picture issue after TCON change

    the TCON board was bad in this unit and was super white and faded out badly, So i changed it with another "known working" on eBay, and it works perfect for a couple seconds then fades out, and then resets itself as you can see in the pictures.. all the voltages on the power supply are pefect, LEDS are drawing the correct current and all the menu, sound, inputs work fine.

      reset samy as hard rest from service menu (not from setting menu )... so all driver will register the new quest hardware you added

          It refreshed again, then worked solid for 10 minutes, then did this.. ugh! I just want a tv for my bathroom!!! this one is only 1 inch thick...

              Check your little caps on tcon, check them for low ohms or shorts, tv unplugged of course.

              Quit because THIS SITE LETS A ROGUE MEMBER TYPE ANY GARBAGE HE PLEASES AND THE POWERS THAT BE NEVER DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT SO HE NEVER QUITS. THEN YOU GET A PENALTY FOR RESPONDING TO HIS ATTACKS. BEEN GOING ON FOR WAY TOO LONG. DONE SUPPORTING A SITE THAT ALLOWS THIS BS.

                  T-con suspect issue. Both ribbon cables no picture. One ribbon cable ok. (58pus8545)

                  Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

                  The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

                  Original T-con:
                  Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

                  First replacement T-con:

                  I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

                  Samsung Series 9 - BIOS issue

                  After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

                  Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

                  Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture

                  Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                  - sound and backlight, but no picture
                  - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                  - it keeps rebooting
                  - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                  - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                  - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                  - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

                  TCL 50S535 bad tcon or panel issue?

                  Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...
