Panasonic Viera TH-65PZ700E shuts down when warm

    Hi guys
I have this beast of a TV in my workshop, it's soooo bloody heavy I can't lift it onto a workbench

When switched on it runs for about 40 minutes then shuts down with a Red flashing LED on the front

You can press the power button and it will flash green and power up again for a several seconds or maybe up to a minute, then shut down again.

Cooling down the two PCBs near the centre, which both appear to be PSUs, didn't seem to make any difference.

I cooled down the PCB on the right (looking from the rear) and then the TV ran for 5-6 minutes before it shut down. That PCB is marked TNPA4012, one of the Sustain Boards.

Assuming I determined the faulty PCB, Are there any common causes of this fault, otherwise i can get a replacement board inc postage for about 50 euros if the customer wants it fixing.

    Additional info
It originally ran for about 40 mins with the back on. This is what the owner reports.

The four cooling fans are spinning.

check all Fans , if one spinning slow it will go to protecting mode. clean them and oil the shift of them.

Good call - definitely the single left hand fan had a problem.

I noticed it was lazy when spinning up then it went up to speed so I didn't think any more of it. I cleaned it and it ran for about 20 mins then shut down.

Now I can see when I power up the TV the other three spin up but that one is just twitching. It's not the bearing, the fan spins freely if you give it a push. I replaced it with a PC fan and it's running now. I'll leave the TV on and see what happens

        Cheers
        Rich

Panasonic National NV-M3 VHS Camera shuts down after some seconds
          by APOPAP
          Hello everybody,
First post here. I have been reading posts here for some time now, but today I made my first account and post.
The same question is also posted on another site, here it is:

Just found an old Panasonic National NV-M3 VHS Camera without the original charger but with a special bag with a led, switch and fuse that is designed for a lead-acid 12v 6Ah battery. It has two cables coming off the bag that leads to the camera terminals (Only + and - ). Pretty sturdy design I think.

I tried connecting it to a Computer PSU (12.7v) but I get battery error...

Looking for help diagnosing a 65" Panasonic Viera TV - TH-65DX700Z (Turns on - Clicks - Turns off)
          by mostachio
          Hi Badcaps,

I've had a friend discard a TH-65DX700Z Pansonic Viera Television and I've decided to have a go at repairing it. If possible could I please get some advice in terms of diagnosing the problem so I can purchase the appropriate parts for repair whether it be components, a repair kit or a replacement board. I am happy to post pictures if required.

          TV Details:

          Model # - TH-65DX700Z

          Symptoms:

The television turns on and displays a picture then makes a clicking sound and turns off.

I haven't opened it up yet but...

          Panasonic Viera LC470EUN (SE)(M2) T-Con issue?
          by Ama Chur
After watching some youtube videos and checking some forums, I'm at a loss. With both ribbon cables connected, we have no image. With the left one pulled out, the screen is black and white, split down the middle. With the right cable removed, it is all black. Backlight is working fine and we have sound and can open applications. We are strapped for money right now and are hoping to repair whatever the issue may be. I think the TV was manufactured in 2012, so I'm aware that may not be possible. Edit: Found a single vertical line of blue pixels on the left side of the screen with one of the ribbon...

I picked up a Panasonic NH-P70G2, though it would apply to the NH-P80G2, NH-P70G1 and NH-P80G1 models as well, as maybe some other models. This one was coming up with a H86 error. After lots of testing and googling it was an error with one of the thermistors in the condenser area.
The attached French service manuals is incorrect, TH11 is gray and is a 95k thermistor and TH12 is black and is a 35k thermistor.
In my case TH12 was bad. I was able to get a 35k thermistor on AliExpress. It's 6mm in diameter.
Unfortunately the whole machine has to come apart to fix it.
          I have...

Dead Panasonic Viera TX-P65STW50 Plasma TV
          by badcappo
Hello, got a ST50 plasma TV for repair. No signs of life, not even blink codes. Opened it up to check the power supply, type MPF6914. Apparent issues from visual detection and measuring for shorts:
          Diode type G972s6 - D101 with a short
          Mosfet 06N90E - Q301 shorted
          Fuse T5AH 250V - F103 blown
          Diode D301 shorted
          Relay DG1U-17VDC II - RL001 blown

I have not found a circuit diagram. Maybe someone here already dealt with a similar issue? Thanks for tips where else to check 😀...
