samsung un46es7500fxza flickers after a few minutes

i cant find much....if any info on here about this TV, found one thread on another site about the same issue, basically this is a TV i picked up that quit working after they had it for 6 months and Samsung wouldn't honor the warranty so it sat in there closet for a few years, from what i read it is a known issue with the tvs, basically after watching it for a few minutes the screen starts to flicker and reboots, most replies i see say it is either a bad ribbon cable coming from main board to power board or the power board itself, ive also seen some people replace the main board to fix it, just trying to narrow it down before i buy parts

Burnt end of ribbon cable was the end plugged into power board

Just about every size ES series has been plagued by this arcing connector issue. Here are pics of the UN55ES7500 with burnt connectors. Usually will se a screen with colored vertical lines or flashing on and off. The only way to properly repair is to replace the power supply AND the cable. Just pray the cable is available. I service a chain of sports bars and they bought a bunch of them and most had this problem eventually.

Upgrading a Samsung ue55nu7096u with logic board from an ue55ru7105k -- good idea?
            by ohren
I hope this is the right forum to post in despite not technically being a repair, but still a question of swapping boards.

I thought I'd explore the possibility to upgrade an existing working Samsung ue55nu7096u with the logic board (and power board if needed) of a newer model (ue55ru7105k) of the same size and appearance (and resolution). The reason being I'd like the extra inputs of that board including component in, an extra HDMI port and bluetooth. Its panel is broken so I have no use for the board otherwise.

The models launched in 2018 and 2019 respectively....

            Samsung Power Supply Board BN44-00874F
            by Nicktronic
            Hey everyone,

This power supply board is hard to find but there are repair kits available. This board had a blown fuse, FP801S, blown PFC MOSFET, QP802CS and ceramic cap, CP809. I replaced them with parts I already had and tested the rest of the parts that would've come in the repair kit and they were fine. I powered the board up on the bench expecting, in typical Samsung power supply board fashion, to see all my output voltages but, nothing. 0 volts on CNL801, CNM801 and CNT801. The only thing I have is 170vdc on the filter caps. No standby voltage either.

            Anybody...

Samsung UN65KU6290F PS board blows fuses
            by valvashon
Samsung UN65KU6290F (May 2017); received from local Buy Nothing group. Was listed as "just went dead" and they wanted it gone. I brought it home, didn't notice anything visually wrong with the power supply board, looked up the cost of a new one and that's about as far as it went. Family was tired of tripping on the foot of the set so I decided to dig in and repair or toss.

Can't believe that I didn't check it earlier but I found the main 8 amp fuse blown. Jumped across it with a 10 amp blade style fuse and you can see that it literally exploded inside the second I plugged...

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
            by Asraf Atb
            Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....
