Re: LG 43UF7709 - Blinking Screen, No Picture, No Sound
I would try a replacement mainboard if reasonably priced, I'm not sure why the mainboard doesn't send the signal but it seems to be the problem in many failures.

Usually that proves the backlights and powerboard are ok, looks like the mainboard is not sending the drv-on signal.Leave a comment:

Re: LG 43UF7709 - Blinking Screen, No Picture, No Sound
Yes sir, connected Power on to 3.5 and drv on to 3.5 ans get backlights shining.
On power on and drv on i only get 3.29V. Should be okay i think?
But what does lightning backlight mean? Does the Mainboard have issues?Leave a comment:

Re: LG 43UF7709 - Blinking Screen, No Picture, No Sound
Maybe try jump starting the powerboard WITHOUT mainboard connected, I think you use a 1k resistor from power on pin to 3.5 standby and another resistor from 3.5 standby pin to drv-on pin, then see if your proper voltages are there and if backlights come on. MAKE sure cable from powerboard to mainboard is unplugged for this test.Leave a comment:

@nomoresonys i hope you get what i mean, if not i will try to explain it better
@budm i think its the backlight. Blinking Screen is seen in front of the LG TV. If i stand behind, i dont see any white light from holes. It seems like TV try to turn on the screen but sticks in this mode.
EDIT/
I have to say, LD701 is blinking ORANGE not YELLOW^^Attached Filesif you find these attachements useful please consider making a small donation to the site

Please provide good clear pictures so we can see what we are dealing with.
You say 'Blinking screen', are you referring to backlights are blinking?Leave a comment:

Re: LG 43UF7709 - Blinking Screen, No Picture, No Sound
Test connector from mainboard to powerboard on powerboard side, test with tv plugged in but off then hit power, report both conditions here, give pin number, pin description and condition on and off.Leave a comment:

LG 43UF7709 - Blinking Screen, No Picture, No Sound
Hi everbody,
my LG TV 43UF7709 wont turn on. It only tries to show something, but it stays only blinking. So i removed the Backcover and first checked some Voltages.
I get on the powersupply all Voltages correctly, equal to the schematics nearby. The only thing i get maybe wrong is "LED+". On the Powersupply there stand it had to be 50V Output. I only get 38V on LED+. Could this be a failure?
Also there is a LED, LD701 which blinks 6 times in row YELLOW. What can this mean?
I also checked Powersupply out of the chassis. I couldn´t find any issues. But have to say, that i´m not a pro.
I also checked Voltage on TCON Fuse: I get 11,5V on each side.
What i noticed to is that the heatsink on the mainboard run very hot.
Would be have, if we can get this TV back to life

by MgiffuneI have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.
I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and... -
by AudezeI have a 2019 75" x950g, and while playing a movie, the screen suddenly went dark in a weird way, where it faded towards one corner into being fully black. Now the TV turns on, and the backlight comes on, but there is nothing displayed except black. Sound still comes through the TV speakers, and i have tried doing a hard reset using the volume - and power buttons while plugging the display back in, but it did not fix it. I can confirm that pressing buttons on my remote is still doing "something" because I'm hearing sound still, even though the screen is black.

by TR103Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
- sound and backlight, but no picture
- when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
- it keeps rebooting
- without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
- without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
- when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.
- without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered... -
by Ryan.manHello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!
My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.
This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen... -
by jchangHi all
I was just given a Samsung TV with the issue. I read various threads and videos and attempted the ribbon tape method to gain an image, but no luck.
Symptom:
No picture no sound.
When I plug in the power cord, Backlight LED turns on for a half second and then turns off. The red LED next to the power button located center bottom flashes 2 or 3 times. When the power button is pressed after, it does the same thing.
No sound at all.
What I tried:
1. I tried unplugging the left or right ribbon... - Loading...
