Bought completely dead screen. Just replaced all led strips. I'm getting a thick vertical line right side of screen . Bad display or t-comm issues?

That looks like a tab bond issue at the buffer board. I got one with a vertical bar like that and found the tab ripped off the buffer right there.

rather "funny" as you are still getting a picture thru the black area unlike the usual totally black vertical strip which usually indicates a tab problem at the bottom of the panel. I think you might have a smd component issue on the bottom edge board.

Strip it to the buffer board, inspect/test components there.

Make sure you reseat the ribbon cable from tcon to panel first
