Yes, the image isn't clear enough to read the IC U32, that will be my guess. most likely that the NAND memory

Yes, that is similar to mine. Around the main IC from left to right, there are 3 RAM chips (2GB+ two 4GB) and the last one is a small bga153 eMMC. No other little eeprom or spi flash on that board.

I can't read U32 either, but that is where I put my bet on and is probably the same idea as my LG board. No SPI and everything is saved on that lil thing.
