Oof,that looks scorched alright, there's your problem.
That Definitely is faulty, the external more thick traces are usually where VA goes, look at the SMDs and PCB traces, they're discolored from heat, measure the resistors and capacitors, try cleaning connection and ribbon cable with isopropyl thoroughly. If the TV works without that vertical driver connected, and not with it in, time to sell the boards, make sure to never power the tv without the heatsinks.

      Re: PN59d6500df possibly not ic1302

It was from a smoker so i cleaned all connection with detoxit and iso then threw it back together. The pins are not scorched just some soot on top. The panel primes but goes out without reeboot when main disconnected and voltages still present. I tested big resistors and fist bank of far left to be good on z buffer. Possibly this soot indicates lt took out the logic board. I tested with z buffers isolated and each at a time. Forgot to get the freeze spray again . i get proper voltages to the resistors on z buffers. I tested a filter cap on psu that may cotelate with logic to be lower capacitance. I cannot how ever get my meeter to do it again.

Wow do i feel dumb. Dose anyone have the nand dump for ic1302? swear i did 3 and 4 then looked at the video. Possibly new ysus gonna try old. The buzzing from this tv seems loud with the back off. i thought it was top pins like the video. i now have a test pattern !

Nice, when i saw that discoloration I immediately blamed the poor panel, good to see that the TV will actually be repaired.
So now you have test patterns displayed correctly but the panel shuts down in one second?

It stays on with main isolated. I wonder if i could use a old usb flash drive to program it like in the photo below. i also have a e3 flasher for a ps3. Would be cool if i could freeze it from below while dumping it with the e3. I also wonder if a TSOP48 chip from a ps3 or flash drive would work. Its gotta be possible data is data right like zeos and ones.

I got my freeze spray in yesterday. I dont trust duster on this main so i bought some mg chemicals 403c super cold HFO-1234ze areosole coolant. I soaked it and it did not work the first time then i douced the whole board then ic1302 for a couple second longer.it worked for 5 mins then it went out. was hopeing it would stay on After the freeze. Now i wonder if i should freeze n dump ,buy chip, both .

If you have the files to reflash the chip, do that, obtaining a dump from this NAND even if it's frozen and flashing it with that doesn't seem reliable, but if done correctly I don't see how it could damage anything, at worst it's a waste of time.
The board started working only after freeze spraying IC1302 or at everything?

I douced all the chips then back to ic 1302 for a few second more to get it going. Gonna try just ic1302 but it also soaks the chip below.

Well after the misdiagnosis by following a video by using top pins. I did try 3 and 4 with hdd jumper but it must of not made a good eniugh connection the first time. I now replaced ic1302 from ebay and the problem is gone !

                        Can you please elaborate?

How did you read the contents of IC1302?

                        How did you reprogram IC1302?

Did you have to freeze it to read it? Or did you buy a pre-programmed IC1302?

Please try to be more specific and write your information so it is useful to others.

                        Thanks.

I ordered a programer i thought could do it. I was wrong so i just ordered a chip on ebay to save time.

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?

I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. I then got online and found this great site! ....read many troubleshooting tips and this...

                            Hi everyone,

I’m looking for help with a persistent issue on an LG TV model 55NANO77SRA, which uses the main board EBU66792103 (also used in LG UQ80 and NANO75/NANO80 series).

                            🧩 Problem Summary:
                            • The TV keeps scrolling through the menu or selecting items by itself.
                            • I removed the physical button board (the entire panel with power and volume buttons) and also disconnected the flat cable (CN202) from the main board.
                            • The remote control is not in use (batteries removed), and the TV still shows the same behavior.
                            • I

Help Needed: Samsung UE55MU8000 Dead - Possible Main Board Issue
                            by Asraf Atb
                            Hi everyone,

Im looking for some advice regarding my Samsung UE55MU8000 TV with main board model BN94-11606C. The TV suddenly stopped turning on and now shows no signs of life at all not even the standby light at the bottom.

Initially, I suspected an issue with the PSU, so I took it to a repair center. They tested it and confirmed that the PSU works perfectly, even on other TVs. Based on that, I started investigating the main board.

I disconnected the main board from the PSU, and the backlight turned on, which seems to confirm the main board is the issue....

Acer TravelMate P214 - N19Q7 main power rail shorted to ground
                            by mkdj
                            Dear all,

I have taken out the motherboard of a Acer TravelMate P214. There is a short to ground on the main power rail (19V). I don't have the schematics or boardview for this board (DAZ8IMB1AA0 REVA). But I have found 4 MOSFETS close to the main power rail : 2 N-Channel and 2 P-Channel.

I have checked resistance across each of the 4 MOSFETS. I have the following readings:
                            Both N-Channel Mosfets: nothing odd

                            P-Channel MOSFET number 1:
                            source - drain : 117 kOhm
                            source - gate: 96 Ohm
                            gate - drain: 117 kOhm

                            P-Channel MOSFET...
