    Sharp LC-60SQ15U Flickering Screen

    Hello I have Sharp 60" with a flickering / pixelated screen. There are dark horizontal lines across the whole screen that slowly roll upwards. Is this a board problem or screen problem ? Is this a common problem with Sharp tv's ? I have reseated all the cables on the boards and all the screws are tight on the boards.

      Ok did some searching and read a couple threads about tab drivers and disconnecting t-con board ribbon cables. I will give it a shot see what happens.

          We recently replaced the OLED screen on a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Gen 10. After about a month, the replacement screen began to flicker. Initially, updating the Intelยฎ Irisยฎ Xe graphics driver resolved the issue for about a week. However, when the problem recurred, updating the driver again had no effect.

          Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

          My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

          This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

          I got this sharp TV that when I first plugged it in it showed the sharp logo and then went to the input screen. This was about 30 seconds and then it showed white screen. Now I can't see anything but white screen. This has a separate TCON and Main.

          The TCON is getting 12V and several parts are as well but the VGH line is only .5Volts which I thought is totally incorrect.

          Am I on the correct assumption that the TCON is bad somehow if I'm only getting that voltage or is there something else I should check?...

          I have a older eddy current tester made by Olympus that uses interchangeable TFT-LCD screens. I have two devices that each take the same removable screens. One is an Olympus NORTEC 200D+ and the other is an Olympus SONIC 1200M EMI. I have searched the internet high and low for service manuals for these units with no luck. Both these units were used extensively by the US military for NDT on airplanes. The detachable screen plugs into the base unit via a weird non standard VGA connector.           This device came in due to the screen flickering if you use the touchpad or external mouse. It will flicker black when this occurs. If you use the touchscreen, the behavior does not appear. Also, if connected to external monitor, the external monitor is not affected by the flickering. I did a good amount of research on this, and concluded that it is due to the display driver. HP does not offer Windows 11 drivers for this model so I got the replacement drivers direct from Intel. I installed them and the problem...
