    Samsung LE46A786R2F with broken panel

Hi hope this thread is still relevant. It's the closest I can find to what I need help with.
Just picked up a Samsung LE46A786R2F. Unfortunately whilst removing it from the car we managed to crack the screen. Heartbroken. I can't find a replacement anywhere online does anyone know where I can find one?

And also if anyone has any tips on how to replace it that would also be appreciated as this would be the first one I've replaced

    Thank you

    Re: Samsung 46Inch LED TV

A new panel will cost you more than a new tv. I doubt you will find a used tv/panel that is any good, thats the reason they get scrapped.

Not gonna lie. That hurt to find out. But I got thus tv for free so haven't lost anything really. What if I didn't mind spending the money to get the panel? Would you know where I'd get one from?

With the cost of replacement panels being so high and them being so fragile that even pro techs break them sometimes trying to replace m, I would buy something like this, before I would try a new panel replacement, plus it's new and a little bigger. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Samsung-UE5...9QSGRAE97RQQYP

i would part this tv out now sell as many parts as you can if you know it was working fine before the panel damage and put the money towards another tv.

SAMSUNG UN50TU8000F rebooting, backlight ok. No 12v to panel boards.
            by triplefour
TV flashes backlight then reboots over and over. no image. Client said it used to have image for a bit before rebooting. Got worse over time.

            tcon is built into mainboard.
Only one cable goes to panel boards.
there is a cable from one panel board to the other that links them.
cost cutting measure that results in us having harder time to diagnose.
removing the link to the second panel board allows TV to stay on with stable backlight but no image.
used cut off tape method to mask 1 maybe 2 pins on the side of the cable that goes to that second panel board....

Samsung's AU series "high quality" panel internally melting
            by Biruslapio
I got this 55 inch AU7X00 TV, it was rebooting and showed no image only a blink of the backlights.

I assumed it was either panel or motherboard. Turns out it was the panel, and after applying some tape on the ribbon cable that goes to the left side of the screen, the TV turned on with image, then I suddenly noticed a dark spot and the pixels were turning black on the left edge, I was sad and thought I smashed the screen somewhere, found nothing visually, it looked in perfect condition and if it was there before it would've been noticeable while I was inspecting the TV the first time....

Resonator - quartz broken - how to find the same (same frequency) ?
            by corrize
Hello, I have a Fujifilm hybrid camera with an issue : the time don't run. I set 12:00 and 3 min later, the same : 12:00
I saw an obvious root cause : a broken quartz (resonator). But with the box broken, I can't read the marking code. Probably : 464… or A64…
I found on the web a picture of the same camera board but with marking code very different. Probably : A7…5N
I'm searching another one for compare…
Do you have an idea or another way for find the frequency of this resonator please ?
(I did not found the manufacturer of this component ? And I did not found the...

Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 - Pink vertical lines due to chipped LCD panel?
            by Anonmis
Hello all, I was recently repairing my Samsung 55" UN55JS9000 tv from the common burnt backlight LED's and cracked light guide panel issue. After replacing the LED's and putting the TV back together, I tested the tv and all I was getting was sound but no image. Somewhere along the way (could be related to the next issue) the T-Con board became damaged and after replacing it I have made a little bit of progress but now have bright pink vertical lines and still no image.

The bigger issue .... I took the TV apart again and realized that I likely didn't sit the LCD panel correctly...
