Samsung's AU series "high quality" panel internally melting

I got this 55 inch AU7X00 TV, it was rebooting and showed no image only a blink of the backlights.

I assumed it was either panel or motherboard. Turns out it was the panel, and after applying some tape on the ribbon cable that goes to the left side of the screen, the TV turned on with image, then I suddenly noticed a dark spot and the pixels were turning black on the left edge, I was sad and thought I smashed the screen somewhere, found nothing visually, it looked in perfect condition and if it was there before it would've been noticeable while I was inspecting the TV the first time.

I decided to touch that edge, and almost burnt my finger! I taped more until the short stopped, now the image looks crappy and there's a noticeable line on that spot, also the black puddle of dead pixels.

More Samsung garbage panels, and if only the panels were bad, I repaired an AU model with burnt backlights a few weeks ago.

    NU series the backlights melt.
RU series? maybe that one is less cursed.
TU series the panel dies in 1~2 years.
Now even AU has both backlights melting on edge-lit models and the screen is also e-waste.

Ru is also cursed. I've redone several with melted diffuser.

It’s pretty much all of Samsungs edglit TVs on the lower end. There higher end use a different style led strip or use a bigger/ better heatsink for the leds.

This model uses normal leds which are for now lasting longer than edge-lit, but there's no point if the panel melts.

Yeah, not even RU is safe, every year since 2018 it's been awful quality TVs, QLEDs are just as bad.

Update, after leaving it off until today, the LCD has recovered a bit, it's much better than what it was before, there's still an horizontal line, no getting rid of that.
I kind of want to experiment more with the tape to get rid of these horizontal lines pattern that happens after shutting clock and other voltage signals to one side of the panel, the thing is if I untape the wrong pin it will go into meltdown again, measuring OHMs there's nothing shorted or close to that.

Un70TU7000b Backlights work, no picture, has sound, panel shorted caps
            by EazyBone
Picked up this Samsung above thinking it'd be backlights but it isn't. Now MAYBE I'll get lucky.
Found some shorted caps among the panel boards. Each cap along the line is shorted. On every board (3 panel driver boards)I disconnect each side right and left ribbons and they are no longer shorted caps and have about 1.5Mohm resistance (on left and right boards). The middle board has the main board disconnected and the caps are shorted. Last 4 pics show arrow to caps.

Now what exactly do I need to do in order to attempt to fix this issue?

do I have to take each one...

LG 49UJ6500 LCD panel lighter band that goes away
            by howardc64
49UJ6500 LCD panel has a lighter band on top when first powered on. Goes away (or gets much fainter) after TV on for a few min. After powered off for awhile and power back on, same band appears. If powered on immediately after powering off, no or much fainter band. Running the latest firmware.

Disassembled the TV and lifted the LCD panel during testing. Band is on the LCD panel (can see the band on the panel as I lift it slightly) Backlight is perfectly even at the top edge. Double checked LCD panel alignment in the frame and is perfect but since band moved with the panel, its on...

SAMSUNG UN50TU8000F rebooting, backlight ok. No 12v to panel boards.
            by triplefour
TV flashes backlight then reboots over and over. no image. Client said it used to have image for a bit before rebooting. Got worse over time.

            tcon is built into mainboard.
Only one cable goes to panel boards.
there is a cable from one panel board to the other that links them.
cost cutting measure that results in us having harder time to diagnose.
removing the link to the second panel board allows TV to stay on with stable backlight but no image.
used cut off tape method to mask 1 maybe 2 pins on the side of the cable that goes to that second panel board....

            QN55Q60R Service Menu Panel Help
            by Storyteller12
I had a the above tv qn55q60r that had a bad panel but everything else good. I had another panel here from un55nu6900 with bad leds and melted diffusers.

I put the nu6900 panel in and powered it up and it does work but there are lines vertical lines.

I was trying to change the panel type in the service menu but don’t see my exact panel. Anyway to fix this or someone have similar experience.

the clear picture is the panel type from the service menus on the nu6900. The other 1 is the panel type that was set for the q60r with the bad panel....

Missing LCD Panel Voltages VGH, VGL, VCOM (TCL 55P6US Sound & Backlight but NO Picture)
            by maneatingmonkey
I have a TCL 55P6US with sound and backlight but no picture. This model does not have a T-CON board, and the right (rear perspective) panel board is fed from the left panel board. I have not been able to induce any change by disconnecting the secondary panel board or the tape cut-off method on the primary board.

There are a bunch of voltages missing on the panel boards. I can't find any shorted caps of the panel boards, and all of the missing voltage rails read in the kiloohms, which leads me to suspect the issue may lie on the circuit board, rather than a short in the panel.
