    Samsung UN65JS9500 No Power On

I was given this Samsung 65 inch that was around $5000 new
I found little to none service information it but managed to find the problem
    as shown in the image

I had standby and B13 voltages with no fuses blown, so it through me
    for a while.

I now have a $2.39 (top of the line) TV and just wanted to pass it on

        >Sprocket. Great find. Glad it was simple. Wish I had your luck with a UN48J5000 I was given. I solved the backlight arcing issue, now facing vertical, colored bars when it lights. My first time to dive into one of these. It HAS been educational and partially successful. Now I'm stuck trying to figure out if it's main or t-con or LCD drivers or panel or some combination therein.

        Rats.......

          Same model.
          Same fault.
          Same failed MOSFET.

Part price went up to $2.47 though

          Thanks for the heads up.

May I ask, where did you get the part? I've looked and cannot locate. Thank you in advance.

How did everyone determine it was this specific mosfet? Remove it and hope you got the right one?

You check for short circuit, fuse is blown due to over current so you look for shorted out power device.

                        Hi all!

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

I found the boardview for this laptop in the forums here, and am able to open it on my PC with FlexBV.

                        Hi all,

TL;DR - this laptop is driving me nuts with the oddball power-related behaviors. Appreciate any insight you can provide!

I'm experiencing a power issue on an Asus Probook P5440UF-XB74. Although I've worked with electronics and computers for decades, this is my first attempt at getting into motherboard-level component troubleshooting. Any help the community can provide is greatly appreciated!

A few weeks ago I was using the laptop (on battery power) for a Zoom meeting. The battery was running very low (long meeting) but I wasn't worried about...

                        Hi

Picked up another TV. Samsung UN43NU6950FXZA. No power and no standBy led on. Removed back cover and:
                        Main fuse = OK
Back light LED = OK. Power them with aux power source
                        LED output = OK 156V
I do get 12 V DC out of the power supply going to the digital section but no 5V or 3.3V. PS_on voltage is only 1.8V. I have looked everywhere on the PCB , I could not find i reference for 5V output.
Also removed connections to panel, speakers and remote but no luck. One strange thing is that even with the LED power supply working, backlight LED do not turn on...

Hi everyone and thanks in advance for any help I might get here

My Samsung TV is about 4 years old. The exact model number is UE75MU7009TXZG.
About half a year ago I started seeing occasional green frames pop up while watching movies. I mean literally green frames. Not the image turning green, but the entire screen turning green for a split second. This happened maybe once or twice during a 2 hour movie. So no big deal, but clearly something was not quite right.

Since a few days, the TV won't turn...

Samsung TV won't turn on ... keeps cycling the power relay on & off
                        by Journey11
                        Hi All,
First time posting here ... my name is Kevin but my friends call me Journey.
I have a Samsung 75" LCD model UN75RU8000FXZA that I don't remember the original fault other than it wouldn't power up anymore.
After it sat for many month's I decide to look at it again. The motherboard seemed to have power regulation issues. After much fussing I decided to just get a new MB.
It came a few days ago and I installed it now just cycles the power relay on and off ... when on the backlights light up and then dim and then relay kicks off and the whole things starts again....
