haier 58" le58f3281 screen goes black after 1/2 hour or so

The screen goes blank after 1/2 hour sound remains looks like led backlight issue.Is this common problem with this unit anyone know.Just wanted get an idea how to proceed.Seems the leds dont short out as same amount of time each time.Looks like overload overheat issue.

They drive the LED's way too hard and with poor thermal management.
Look to see if you can turn down the Backlights level (not Brightness) on all input mode as low as possible to see if the backlights will stay on longer or not.

Thanks bud .I will give it a try.I did remove the power supply and saw some questionable solder connections on power supply transformers.I resoldered those so along with backlight dimming it may have worked.The set has been on foe 4 hours now gonna leave it overnight see what happens.Will update soon.

Update bud I turned down leds backlight adjustment about 2 days ago to 60% roughly and unit continues to run after inputting 8893 after menu ....great call on that one....thanks again.

Bud had some success.I done more investigation and found led board had become un soldered as in pic so i corrected this and lamps returned to normal.However now have bigger issue where only 1/2 screen comes on.If i remove ribbon cable from left side on t-con i get 1/2 picture.I was very careful with disassembly amd everything looks fine.i seated the cables numerous times but now screen blacks out with 2 cables on t-con.

Recheck your soldering job carefully, strange that this symptom showed up right after.

I only soldered the led rails ,now its either tcon or shorted screen very strange.

Can't factory reset without screen.Any way confirm left side shorted?I tried switch cables locations to no avail.possible tcon went bad ?

Check that the gold contacts at the end of the ribbon cable have not lifted. This can happen. You may need to use a magnifying glass.

You were flipping the top bar of the connector up to release and push back down to secure?

So it could be just replace ribbon cable.I will check that for sure.
