    Sharp Aquos LC-60LE650U 2 long 5 short

    Alright , here we go.
    I have a Sharp Aquos LC-60LE650U that is giving off a ....
    2 long 5 short blink code.
    Poked around on Google and didn't find much.
    Searching on BadCaps brought me to this thread...

    Very similar problem, so I ordered what was mentioned on that thread. but I've come to a different conclusion after noticing some darkened areas on the board.

    This is the problem area correct? Would only having half a heatsink cause the chips to fail? As well as the components in the surrounding area?

    So did you do the Voltage testing on the connectors and on that 12V regulator as shown on that link?
    We need the Voltage readings.

      I did before I pulled the board when I first got the TV , but that was a couple weeks back. I wrote down the results in my roommates notebook.
      I'll have to wait until he gets home to get it from him.
