sharp LC-60SQ15U vertical line in video

TV has a blue line (not solid,) kind of like dashes on the right side almost dead center that fades out at the bottom. I have checked the tab bonds and found no damage. I have pushed on the individual tabs while the tv is on with no change to the blue line. If I remove tcon connector 2 I get the lines in picture three and if I remove tcon connector 1 I get picture four. I am thinking a bad tcon but would like to know if anyone can clarify this for me.

That's your typical SHARP LCD panel failure. Failure resides not in the tab connection, but in the chip on film embedded within the tabs
Did I leave the soldering iron on?

Kind of what I originally thought. Thanks again.

Sharp LC19SB24U; red vertical line comes and goes
        by valvashon
Yes, this is a very old Sharp 19" but I would like to fix it if possible. As you can see from the attached picture there is a single red vertical line.
Yesterday when I turned the set on, it was there for about 30 minutes then disappeared and did not show up again (set was on for another 3 hours or so).
Today it was not there when I powered the set on, then appeared after about 15 minutes. Set has been on for about an hour and it's still there.
From what I have read I'm guessing that this might be the t-con board and not the display itself as it does come and go.

        Kogan - KALED65XU9220STB - Blue Vertical Line
        by TrueSword88
        Hi all.

I have a Kogan 65' LCD Panel with a thin blue vertical line (top to bottom) on left hand side of panel.
The line just happens to coincide with the end of COF and start of the next COF (attached).

The line is permanent no matter what I've tried. I've tried pressure testing the panel (top to bottom) and all over, I didn't notice any difference with the line, either temporary or semi-permanent.

Also tried unplugging all flex cables, cleaned with isopropyl then re-inserting to no avail - line remains.

        Hoping to fix...

To fix laptop screen vertical line by working on its EDP cable
        by almarhum
Has one here really gone through fixing laptop screen vertical line(s) by repairing/replacing its Embedded DisplayPort (EDP) cable, so would recount and share the complete steps of the process here now?

As most, if not all, believe the laptop screen vertical line(s) caused by defective Embedded DisplayPort (EDP) cable which slipped and passed through either laptop screen hinge but post here is asking help to elaborate definitively the useful, real knowledge of repairing in the most complete, correct way, esp. can decide/determine whether the cable can still be fixed or must be re...

China Make TV with LG Display horizontal line at top and video freezes 1-3 secs
        by dikei
        Hi guys!

I'm new to TV repair and just started looking into troubleshooting guides and other online info.

Right now I have a Chinese make with LG display that is faulty. If I am not wrong I see two different problems here below.

        1. There is a line(white/multicolored) at the very top of the display that shows thinner sometimes and slightly thicker in some occasions.

        2. For any video the play freezes 1-3 secs and at the same time brightness goes low and returns to high when video continue to play.

        From my initial research...
