    Hi friends,

I dont know what this means, cannot find some service manual or something about this problem.

That code is backlight failure. It's called a 1-1 code. One long flash followed by one short flash. The back light output pins from power, supply do you see a momentary voltage, and drop off?

      1) TV is OFF, set the DC Volt meter to at least 200VDC scale.
      2) Keep the black probe of the meter on the chassis, keep Red probe on the LED connector (do not remove the connector) where the RED wire is then turn the TV on while watching the meter to see how high the Voltage jumps up to and wait 10 seconds to see how low it goes down to, report the reading. Turn off the TV.
      3) Repeat step 2 but this time you will move the red probe to where the white wire is on the LED connector.

Don't think this tv uses a fault code as none of it is made by sharp.

Cheap LG panel, megmeet PSB and UMC mainboard.

In other words a pile of steaming ****

These mainboards have issues with corrupt Nand (u3)

I dont think that this is the 1-1 code,is only one white blink repeated forever. I uploaded short video of this blink.
Also tried many key combinations for sharp tv but without any effect.

Yep. I second corrupt firmware. If Sharp has a firmware file for this particular TV load it on to a USB, plug it into the TV and plug the TV into the wall do not touch anything until finished.

                    by cm0002
                    Hi everyone,

I've got a Sharp LC-55N7000U. It has a standbuy LED when plugged in, but powering it on causes it to blink 1 LONG and 5 FAST. Theres no display and no backlight.

Nothing I checked has that blink pattern for Sharp TVs and there's only one multi-button on the TV itself so that service menu trick involving the input button doesn't work either. Its a post-Hisense buyout TV so that probably makes sense lol

I've tried disconnecting the panel sides from the TCON alternating sides, but no change in behaviour even when the whole TCON is disconnected,...

                    Sharp Lc-70le734u blinking 2 long 5 short
                    by Charrlie
Just picked up this sharp tv not too long ago and it started not wanting to start the other day, giving me the notorious 2 long-5 short blink pattern indicating a power issue. I was able to force start it a handful of times (once the tv has fired up it has no issue running for 5+ hours). But now as of yesterday, no matter what I try to do button combination wise, I just receive the same blinking code.

So I busted into it and have done the following:

-Removed the power board and inspected for any bad caps, burn spots etc. Do not see any instances of such ...

Sharp 80” long short flash backlight error - Help
                    by Superbee_dad
                    Hello Sharp TV experts
Our Sharp LC-80LE642U displays one short one long flash error code which is a backlight error. I went into service mode and there were 8 lamp error counts recorded. I reset the count to 0 and did a reset. The last monitor error cause was 16 B00014639:12. 16 is the code for backlight error. I tried to power the tv up but went back into error mode.

                    > I checked voltages on the power supply board and they all check out .. including 3.28 volts at the error pin.
                    > There is power to the cpu and T-CONN and no faults found there. The cpu has a flashing...

                    by SONY_E-WASTER
Hello, I'm new to this forum. I like to tinker with Sony electronics, I have been lucky trouble shooting sony stuff, But I can't find much info on this Sharp TV.

The problem; plug to power>white led power indicator light is on>it turns on to the red Sharp logo>
then the android logo is displayed, lit fine then the android logo brightness varies, then lit normal, then the tv restarts and does the same startup logos over and over for 5 times then it turns off and the power indicator light flashes the trouble code 3 long blinks plus 3 short blinks .

                    does...

Extreme High Current & Low Voltage Short Killer ??
                    by DynaxSC
                    Hi Folks

I'm looking for a extreme high current short killer solution for a reasonable cost.

I have an LGA1700 motherboard (ASUS PRIME Z790-P WiFi) where I exchanged the LGA socket already 3 times, and every time after the socket exchange I get a short of power supply lines VCORE (V variable) and VCCIN_AUX (1.8V).
After taking off the socket, the shorts dissappear again.
The soldermask on the socket is already partially demaged from the heat, so I have reconstructed the soldermask by manually painting the missing soldermask parts with a very small top of a...
