Re: Panasonic TX-48CX400B low LED volts
thank you, i did'nt even think about getting BL ON from main board, so i will check that.
the LED plug was in while testing, but still remained at 79v with no increase of volts,
had a read of the threads on here and also watched a few vid's on you tube,
before asking here for some inspiration, but i think something has sorted and can't find it at the moment, but i'll see if i have the signal from the main board when i get home tonight so i can rule that out.
i can't believe i did'nt think of checking it.Leave a comment:

Re: Panasonic TX-48CX400B low LED volts
So if the TV is off, put the LED connector back in place, and then you attach the meter probes to the negtive leg and positive leg of either one of the two 56uF 160DC cap and then turn on the TV, you do not see the Voltage jumps up 10 180V any more?
If you did have the LED connector in place when you get that reading of 180V, it is telling me that you have open circuit in the LED string some where.
When the LED power supply does not see the load the output will go up to the max which will then trip the over Voltage shut down then all you get will be the feeding Voltage that feed the boost converter circuit, in this case, it is around 80VDC.
It can also be that the BL-ON is not present to turn on the backlights driver circuit.
So lets verify for sure if the boost converter is working or not.
There are many threads about this power supply board but there are many version of this 17IPS20 PCB which can be stuffed in may ways to make a bunch of different PCBA's.
That barcode is the number of the PCBA.
Is it 23253638? or 23253538? I have a hard time reading all the numbers on that barcode.Last edited by budm; 02-21-2018, 11:18 PM.Leave a comment:

Originally you'd plug power supply into it and it would take up to 1.2 amps and then drop to 200 milliamps and then go back up again to 1.2, staying all the while at 5 volts. Pressing power button would results in power LED blinking amber 3 times. 3.3 volt rail, 5.1 volt rail present, main power rail 8.8 volts. Power button test pads near EC chip 2.7 volts.
I found a short on the other side:

Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

by supermattchHi everyone.
I am diagnosing my personal laptop, because it wont power on and no leds light up.
At the dc-in there are 8 pins, 1 and 2 shows healthy 19.66 volts. The next three are ground, but the 6th one shows .283 volts. This is strange to me, it should be 3.3 or 5 or aome volts not 0.283v. As I am new to this, I would like some guidance. Please someone advise me on what to check next.
Oh the boardview and schematics I am using is for a similar model as I cannot find the proper one anywhere. Quanta DA0P5HMB8F1 rev F. Nowhere on the internet.09-23-2025, 12:13 PM -
by MisterAILHi everyone,
Brought a non functionnal PS5. Apparently only a bad PSU...
No beep, nothing.
After some tests i found this :
- PSU is fine (12 volts stable)
- 12 volts line is shorted
- DA9065 was fried, F7003 also => Replaced both of them, short is gone on 12 volts line, no dead short anywhere else.
- By the way, nothing change. No signal, no power, no beep.
Mesuring all rails with my workbench psu (12 volts input)
- 0.00 amp drawing
- 12 volts, 5 volts, 2 volts, 1,15 volts are presents (suppose new DA9065 do is...5 Photos -
by AquaMan UaHello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...2 Photos
