This TV may have multiple problems. If I plug into any hdmi port the picture goes snowy. Pretty sure that is a main board issue since the hdmi ports feel really loose. If I unplug one then the other side of the tcon from the panel the left side is dim and then the right side is bright. Not sure if I might be dealing with a bad panel. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also sorry for the blurry picture of the snowy background but it is multi colored snow

by sigmeyerLike the title says , this is a very interesting problem , never experienced this before so i thought i'd share and maybe get some help on this. So the problem is as such: TV comes on , some gibberish flashes on screen and the screen remains black , the owner of tv said he heard sound. Now i checked some things cleaned all connections first of all so i dont run in a circle. Then i disconnected one of the cables for the panel , and viola, the left side of screen comes on, then i tried to switch it , with left side disconnected and right connected. Same problem persists. I checked some voltages...

by DavidhamesHi Guys,
Thought I might try and seek advice on an issue I am having, I got this SONY tv for free that was having some dark greenish colouring, I replaced the T-CON and too my suprise the TV would not boot - I would get 5 blinking red LED lights. I dug deeper into this forum and someone mentioned the fact that it might be the tabs that connect to the LDC panel, and peeling them off should bring back a clear image. I tried this on the side of the T-con that was causing the tv to not boot when plugged in (left) and wow a perfect picture and was booting up fine! All was well and good... -
by flibidyI have here a Magnum IA.100 which belongs to my parents.
The unit powers on & when the relay kicks in, you get a pop from the speakers (this might sound weird but is usual behavior for this amp). However, you get nothing coming through it from any of the inputs & no pops and crackls from any of the controls.
Because of the sound from the speaker when the amp turns on I have assumed that the output section probably works but I could be wrong & I'm not sure how to test that side of things further.

by Tr0llHi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.
The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.
Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.
First replacement T-con:
I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)... - Loading...
