GVA 50FDLED half on - eeprom?

Posted about this set last July when it was slow to turn on but otherwise operated normally. The turn on time got worse so opened it up to find swollen capXon. Put it aside until recently I recapped the PSU tand reassembled for testing - still no turn on just a steady red standby light but all voltages were up on the PSU . 24v reads 23.8 , 12v reads 13 , 5v reads 5.2 apart from on/off 4.6 and led lead has 89v. So the PSon has worked but nothing else as main is not sending BLon an Adj voltages nor anything to T-con. I forced backlight on no problem so I'm happy PSU is OK.
The main is T.MSD306.69A 12023 and screen T500XVN01.0 and this main is used in many different branded sets including Bush Teac etc and has a history of eeprom problems as kits are advertised. I checked obvious things on main such as 3.3v to u8 and 1117 regulators reading correctly. Just seems that main processor isn't completing the turn on as the red standby doesn't change to green and set unresponsive to any button or to remote. Have tried heat, freeze, short pins 5 6 on eeprom but no change. Of course no firmware support found.
Does anyone have any input re this main or advice or suggestion ?

I'm having trouble posting pics as I get them ready for upload but then an advice comes up " faster page loaded " and everything then locks up and post disappears!!

Try and find a dump and remove program yourself or buy the eeprom already programmed.
I had to replace the eeprom on one of those boards as it had failed. Even programming it with the proper file didn't work. Wasn't anything special, one of the common laptop eeproms.

          Sounds like eeprom
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Yep, looks the same as the one I replaced the eeprom on.

Thanks guys yes it seems little doubt re corrupted eeprom U8. I had emailed ohmsupplies only yesterday as saw they advertised replacement for same make 32" screen whereas I have the 50" so awaiting reply and I don't care what logo first comes up on screen. Also have chance of fix or replacement board but cost about $120 so tossing that around in my mind.

Just to finish off this post the set is up and running normally again. Robert of Adelaide TV Spares and Repairs got a same good main board into stock so I sent mine over for him to compare and fix or replace $80 plus postages. Good quick service and he keeps a good number of boards (see Gumtree). One interesting point is my board sticker had a wrong identity on it for screen (32 instead of 50) so either mislabeled or past problems with main which may then have been replaced and reprogrammed.

Did you get another board or same board back? Was eeprom the problem?

Same board and yes eeprom I'm sure no sign of any work otherwise.

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?

I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

So I got this TV with not turning on symptom.
Using my backlight tester I confirmed that LED backlight is fine. Ordered a replacement main board TP.MS3393.PB851. With this replacement board TV turned on but original remote control will not work on a TV and side buttons are mixed up(for example if I press "Source" TV will increase volume).
So I swapped Eeproms and confirmed that it is a problem on my original main board, meaning with my original main board and an Eeprom from replacement board I got TV to turn on with not working remote and mixed up side buttons and the replacement...

                        93C46 and 93C56 EEPROM

I tore apart my instrument cluster for my 2008 Toyota Corolla made in 2007 in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada and pcb location: IC6=EEPROM is a surface mounted device with part # of 93C46W7, some claim the EEPROM out of a Camry part # 93C56 will allow odometer to roll over 299 999 KM or miles. The data sheet for both is below:

                        https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...c6e42b20d3.pdf 2

Anyone know if the Camry one will work on my Corolla?. And which EEPROM reader/writers do you all recommend I purchase that will allow me to read the old values of the old...

Compatibility of main boards between different variations of samsung MU6100
                        by JSin21
                        Hoping someone here could possibly help. I have a few questions in regards to compatibility with main boards. But I'll give a quick short run down on what's going on first;

I have Samsung Smart TV UA65MU6100WXXY version DA01

Now years ago it started intermittently playing up after a lighting strike. Lighting hit the block of units i was living in at the time. Ever since that night the TV started having a mind of its own, It would randomly turn itself off or on, and all inputs stopped responding like HDMI, aerial, but USB still worked. Anyway, over the next few months...

                        Vizio M60-C3 black screen

So our beloved M60-C3 up and died the other day. I was not there, my wife mentioned that it came on, displayed the logo, then showed the right half of the screen white and fuzzy, with the left half of the screen ok. However when I got around to looking at it, the screen would not come on at all. The indicator LED will come on, then dim a bit. After a while, the LED might blink a bunch of times. I can't get it to be consistent to do that.

So I've got the back off and am checking voltages. The capacitors on the power supply board visually check out. No bulges or anything. They all show...
