Samsung PN64E533 Vertical green line and official no picture

After looking on here and YouTube... I'm going to run the voltage drop test, but it looks like the same symptoms of those failing blue capacitors (17 small ones on the y sustain board) for the blank screen.

Saw a tampatec video with same green line solved by replacing the control board.

Does this quick and dirty diagnosis seem somewhat correct? I've got an automotive multimeter I'm going to try and test with when I've got time. And I'll order the mini capacitors from Digi key on Monday.

Read that if I disconnect the panel ribbon cables from control board, if the lines go away, its possibly the control board, if they stay - its probably a panel failure .... Does that sound correct? Thanks

Looks like a panel failure to me.

Thanks for input. Such a waste... Was free to me, but still feel bad scrapping it! All for a bad cof/panel fault. Wish we could somehow fix the error.

            Thanks again though guys!
