With the bezel off I can't change anything touching the tabs, only when the bezel is on when I give pressure near the tabs on both sides do the lines go away

sure i will do tonight, but the lines will be in the exact same spot they are now, just harder to see with a full screen of color....thanks

    Anyways back on topic.

You need to figure out which side is causing the failure and remove all the tabs on that side.

    Re: Samsung un60eh6003f horizontal lines

i have figured out exactly which 2 tabs, directly across left and right from the lines in the picture...those tabs, just like the other side ones dont actually connect to anything, just hang off and had a little piece or tape on them...if i push the bezel in toward the glass (both sides at the same time) it goes away...

no other pressure anwhere else has any effect, just those 2 side tabs

and thanks very much for everyones help, much appreciated

your tv IS actually an LCD tv that is led lit... but the led lighting has little to do with your issue. Put a test pattern on the screen (lots to choose... color bars, etc)... this may help with identifying the areas that may be in trouble. Depending on the "pressure" that your putting on the frame, I would also check the connection between the bottom and side. Those cables might be "clampable" and you might "reseat" them accordingly.

yes i did yesterday, but have since clipped the frame back on...the tabs just hang off the panel, look no different than the other side tabs that i can see, will have to get out a loop to look more closely though

edit, only the plastic bezel needs to be removed to expose the glass and tabs.

Do you have it laying on it's back with both front plastic bezels and metal frame removed to expose the tab connections on glass?

You need to figure out which side is causing the issue , left or right. As someone already said , rubb with your fingers on the side tabs...if you notice any difference on the tabs then remove all side tab drivers on that side.

This is not a fix that will last forever. The side tabs on the other side will have to do double as much work.
it seems to be both ..if i push frame in on 1 side or the other, not much happens, but if i push both at the same time, it goes away

True , but it would be more visible with some input on the screen like a movie.

    Still panel failure.

Are you a lcd expert? What the hell you laugh? It's not simply "red on left blue on right.." ..Poor..

"I remember few years ago on here many samsungs would have problems with top tab bonds due to wall mounting"
Interesting, are you sure? Top side edge bonds or top edge side bonds?
Reading comprehension is important. Clearly stated top tabs. Also can see the defect in his picture just fine it is right between the input selection dialog and no signal dialog.

I posted about this previously but didn't get any response, and I have some troubleshooted a bit so I have more info.

The screen is full of horizontal "gaps" or lines that distort the picture badly, and after about 10 seconds of powering it on the screen starts to fill with red vertical bars that take on the horizontal pattern. After the screen filled with the red bars, they instantly vanished and then slowly started to reappear. I initially thought it was tab bonding failure, but after getting down to them and pressing each one I find zero change in the picture. I went...

I just acquired this 3D LED yesterday and it has horizontal lines on a little more than half of the screen. When I first turn it on it has thin black lines going across that makes the image look serrated, and then shortly after patterns of thicker red lines fade in. If I turn it off and right back on it will reset to just the black lines and the red will again fade onto the screen.

I initially thought tab bonds, but flexing the bezel makes no difference, and the fact the image sort of resets after cycling power is different. I haven't opened it up yet to actually test applying...

Samsung UE49MU6105K - boot loop, horizontal lines
    by blaster_
Less than a year out of warranty, samsung UE49MU6105K craps out, they've got this designed obsolescence down to an exact science of self destruct when out of warranty...

Screen started to show horizontal lines and ghosted image at the bottom, then turned off by itself. Did software update, to no avail of the line problem, and got a boot loop after some minutes of watching TV. This boot loop will turn on the backlights for some seconds the sound comes on, the image will turn dark very fast and then it reboots again. Pressing power button will not put it on standby. Disconnecting...
