    Troubleshooting rsag7.820.1673 TV Power Issue

I have a dynex dx-l40-10a and am having issues getting it to turn on. If it has been off for a while, when I hit the power button sometime the relay will not click for almost 20 seconds. After that it still does not turn on and will take usually 6-7 more tries to get it to stay on. Once the TV is on it works perfect.
I took the back off yesterday and here are my voltages. This was with the TV off, but plugged in. The c842 (big blue capacitor) was reading like 26 micro farads, but I did not take it off the board. I am guessing that one is not the problem though? Also that one says 2000V and 22nJ how do you figure out the actual capacitance of that one?

    Thanks

    Any photo's of the boards?
What DC voltage do you have across the two legs of C810
Also what DC voltage do you have at junction VD813/C811 and also at junction of C811/C812.
Recently someone with identical power supply had faulty capacitors C811/C812

    Read through the following thread

    Schematic attached.

      Hi,
judging by the symptoms described it seems a main board issue.

you have no stby voltage, so the main board is inactive at this point.

disconnect the harness that goes to the main and see if stby comes up, also check dcv on the main filter cap and report what you find.

Lets see the pictures of the boards.
You also need to verify these pin names:

Well I got it working. I did not do much troubleshooting I went for resoldering c811, c812, and c842 and it worked so far. I will give it a couple days and see what happens.

              Resoldered or replaced?
