Sharp LC-70LE732U 2 slow 3 fast blink code

Ive searched all over and have read everything i can find related to this but cant seem to find the exact resolution. I picked this TV up for free but the owner stated it was struck by lightening then stopped working. So i would like to fix it and use it.

I have a Sharp LC-70LE732U TV that is showing 2 slow 3 fast blinks. Which i have found means:
    "Power supply error 2 (*2) D+3.3V error"

    and/or

    "DET_D3V3 (33pin) failure (L). Digital 3.3V is not applied.
If error is detected during start-up or operation, the power is turned on again by polling."

Ive checked all over the power board DPS-222BP A (runtka857wjqz) and can not find any blown caps, diodes, fuses or the like.

So i assume the 3.3V signal is coming from the main board.

I can read schematics and understand everything that goes along with it. What i dont understand is where the 3.3V is initiated, from the schematic that i have. I also cant see which leg to test on the IC chips.

I have uploaded pictures of the back panel and the boards.

Also here is the service manual

It does say 2 x slow, 3 x fast flashes = "power supply D+3.3V error" in Table 1 page 6-2

What's the number of the power supply?

    Edit
This may be it but I can't spot 3.3V at any of the connectors.

I suspect the 3V3 must be provided by the main board which regulates one of the supplies from the power supply. What part number written on IC2703

          IC2703 reads:

          Y146B
          1041E
          BRD

Can anybody chime in on the 3.3v location?

I agree that the d3.3V is generated by the regulator IC some where on the main board. Too bad the service manual does have the schematic for the main board.

NOPE, I download the service manual from the link and looking through and was hoping to see the schematic of the main board, it is over 100 pages but without the schematic. Sharp calls that service manual!
                  "Are you being sarcastic?"
BTW, why do you say that?

You said too bad the service manual "does" have the schematic. I wasn't sure if I was overlooking a schematic somewhere that was obvious or just a typo. No harm no foul.

Is there anyplace to get a schematic of the main board? Or can I order a new ic2001 r8c/36c and solder it in? Would that be where the 3.3voltage originates from?

So is the consensus that the power board is good and the main board is bad? Can I trick the TV to atleast turn it on to insure if functions properly?

Would it just be better to order a new main board and pop it in?

have you checked all of the voltages coming out of the power card as "labelled"? that's where you should start.

How do i check the voltages if i cant get the tv to turn on? Wouldnt that mean that board would need to turn on before i check the voltages?

I would suggest you start reading thru the forum for threads on similar models and go from there.

I have replaced the main board and the t-con board. I now get a 1 slow 1 fast blink code, which i can bypass by holding down the (vol- ch+ power) buttons all while plugging in the ac cord. The tv powers on and while shining a flashlight i get vertical lines but no backlight (as shown) after about 10secs the top half of the screen goes black (as shown) and i get a 2 slow 5 fast blink code. Any ideas on this?

With you "new found cards", try unplugging the small corner cable in the lower corner of the panel (they interconnect the lower edge boards to the side edge boards). See if you get a different response / menu display from remote or input showing up.
This may indicate you have a tab issue. How ever, if you aren't getting back lighting, this strongly suggests a failure of a led in the backlight string. check the voltages for the led inverters.

Where would the small corner cable be? Left or right?
Where are the led inverters? And what voltage should they be?
