    Leds

I have fixed 2 tvs with bad leds with leds I had from junk sets. I have an lg 55lb5550 that's needs leds, my backlight tester shows the good onestuff pull 5.4 volts. How do I find out the number of these leds and where is a good place to buy them. I've have tried every number I have on the strips, panel number, I'm not sure how to find out what number they are . Helpppp

Seems like there should be a set of numbers in which you can tell which leds are used in a tv. Don't have anyway to measure in mm

The best you can find is strip numbers because no manufacture sells just the led. If you have ruler or anything you can cross to mm. They look to be 2.8 X2.8mm. But I have no real reference

                Re: Leds

You need to remove the LED to check the foot print of the LED and measure the dimension of the LED. You also need to verify the forward Voltage of the LED to find out if it is single (3V forward Voltage) or Dual (6V forward Voltage) LEDs.
Notes: one string of LED has Vf of 138.6V, the other string has Vf of 207.9V.
