17pw20.1 board????

I picked up a TV, when been unplugged you can turn it on and watch for about 20 minutes, then cuts off to standby. Try to put it back on and the standby light flashes.

I opened it up noticed just one cap bulging 100uf 50v one no other signs, tried replacing no joy.

Now my question is I have been looking on ebay for a replacement board, and noticed the 17pw20.1(the one in my Xenuis 37") and the 17pw20.

My question is can I put the 17pw20 in and be ok?

Bad cap can look normal, you need to check Capacitance, ESR, Leakage Current, etc. Always a good idea to change caps as a set.

the board in tghere is 17pw20.1 can i put a 17pw20 or 17pw20 v2???

I think you can use 17pw20.1 or a 17pw20. Don't know about V2

Anyone can share voltages on pl802, pl801,pl803, pl812 connectors pin on power supply 17pw20.1 when tv is off and on?

Simptoms of my tv:
When I plug the power standby led is on. Whe I press power button standby led goes to off but there is no picture on tv. When I press the power button again I get no respose.

This should be your schematic which has voltages given.

It is best if you would name the connectors , pin name and number and also voltage at the pin which could well indicate what is wrong.
