    Board Needed for Mitsubishi LT-55154

Since we didn't get anywhere with MB repair in my other thread, I was wondering if anyone out there has a spare board for the LT-55154 for sale? I need the 01 revision.
I can't locate one on the web that is reasonably priced. The only company I find wants 700+ for a new board. I would just scrap the unit and get a new set.

    TIA

This seems a reasonable priced repair if a board is £700 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mitsubishi-L...item2824a99337
Maybe the no HDMI is a clue to your issue and it is due to it failing ? just a guess, maybe the HDMI chip/circuitry has failed.

I think it may actually be the HDMI chip. The repair services won't touch the board if anyone has tried to repair. I replaced ALL of the 100uf caps already.

I have seen shorted hdmi chips shut down a main board, the couple I have seen the ic got very hot right away, one I was able to remove the hdmi chip and the rest of the board worked.

So after you pulled the HDMI IF the tv booted etc? I can give it a shot!

I just put the hot air to IC2A01 and successfully removed it. Checked for solder bridging on the board after removal. It is clean. The board still won't boot. Trying to reload the firmware now to see if it will take.

                This is a PITA LOL.
