    LF501EM6F Emerson 50" tv

I have an LF501EM6F Emerson 50" tv with a main board model number BA4GU5G0201 4. I found two shorted caps on the back of the main board. C3825 and C3828.
I am wondering if anyone has a board they can measure these caps on and let me know what they are? It might help someone else with one of these chirpers too. I measured 5.6uf on one I removed but it would be nice to have a little verification.

If you measured a shorted cap, then you wound't read anything good in value. C3824 and C3827 are parallel to the ones you took out. So measure these.

Look like they are in parallel. If so they are probably same as other two
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

What is the resistance reading between the two pads on the board where the caps?
It will not be showing 5.6uF if you have shorted cap, you can easily verify that by shorting you cap tester leads together to simulate shorted cap measurement.

No I pulled one of the others and then replaced it so it would not run away.

I traced the line pulling and replacing components in the circuit until found the ones that were shorted to ground.

So did you find the problem and which component was it?
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

I replaced C3825 and C3828 with 5uf caps. Tv is functional. You're mileage may vary.
