It may be better for you to start a new thread with make and model in the name of the thread and then upload good clear whole straight shot of top and bottom side of your board.
Also the pictures of the whole backside of the TV showing all the boards.Never stop learning

Im having the same problem but different issue, my tv keeps blowing fuses
i didn't have the same fuse in handy i desperately put a higher fuse in and it fried a (Trace) under the board located under the "LF2" Coil...
Can anyone help ?

Check the resistance between the two inner pins, between two outer pins of the bridge BD1.
Check the resistance between the Source and Drain pins of the MOSFET Q101A, 101B.
Make sure to report if the reading is in Ohm, K Ohms, or M Ohms.Never stop learning

I have a Sceptre U550CV-UMRD8POTV83BB 4K LED (this is a dumb tv) that I bought new in August 2021, so It's just completed 3 years.

Last Sunday I was watching a dvd and fell asleep for about half hour, when I awoke the tv screen was black and couldn't get the dvd menu to show, so I changed the input to antenna and had sound but no picture, turned it off. Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

I'm trying to troubleshoot a Microsoft Surface Pro (5th gen) model 1796 that won't power on. Motherboard model is M1007506-015. My priority is retrieving data, but the SSD is integrated so it looks like if I can't repair it it'll need to go to a data recovery company. I've done a little basic board repair before, but nothing this advanced until now. So please forgive my ignorance in advance. 😅

Dear all,
I have taken out the motherboard of a Acer TravelMate P214. There is a short to ground on the main power rail (19V). I don't have the schematics or boardview for this board (DAZ8IMB1AA0 REVA). But I have found 4 MOSFETS close to the main power rail : 2 N-Channel and 2 P-Channel.
I have checked resistance across each of the 4 MOSFETS. I have the following readings:
Both N-Channel Mosfets: nothing odd
P-Channel MOSFET number 1:
source - drain : 117 kOhm
source - gate: 96 Ohm
gate - drain: 117 kOhm
