Which one is the exact matched of your power supply board?
Do you have about 160VDC between the + and - of the main filter cap in the primary side?
BTW, your picture is too blur for my eyes.Never stop learning

Re: VIZIO E321VL no dc out put volts on the secondary side of the board
It is not working that is why you do not have the standby 5V.
That small yellow transformer is the one that generates the Standby Voltage.
It looks like some one did not install the SMPS IC (next to the yellow transformer) back on the heatsink properly, I can see the gap between the heatsink and the body of the IC., the mounting screw is missing? What is the story on this board, someone messing with it and not putting the part back in properly.
Your pictures are so bad I cannot even read any labels on the board. So which one is your board?Last edited by budm; 05-12-2017, 12:24 AM.Never stop learning

Vizio 0500-0412-1010 Power Supply / Backlight Inverter
Some one messed with the board before you?

by frannyjunkMy Vizio M60-C3 was dead. No power, no lights. Just nothing. So I took the back cover off and noticed 4 bulging caps on the power supply board, so I replaced them (green low esr capacitors in the picture). The tv now works! But there are some areas that look dim (see picture). In particular, the left side has a dim band. I know that the led strips run horizontal, yet this band is vertical. Could it be that the led driver board is bad? Could the blown caps have taken out the led driver board? Or is this just a coincidence that every left side led on each strip just went out?...

by flibidyI have here a Magnum IA.100 which belongs to my parents.
The unit powers on & when the relay kicks in, you get a pop from the speakers (this might sound weird but is usual behavior for this amp). However, you get nothing coming through it from any of the inputs & no pops and crackls from any of the controls.
Because of the sound from the speaker when the amp turns on I have assumed that the output section probably works but I could be wrong & I'm not sure how to test that side of things further.

by raider988Hey guys. I have this PSU with the secondary side completely dead and I need some help in troubleshooting and I couldn't find a schematic for it. I'm still a beginner in electronics so please bear with me.
There is no visible damage to any component, the PSU is reasonably clean with no burnt smeel whatsoever. The secondary side seems completely dead, I couldn't find any voltage anywhere, not even at the transformer's terminals. It seems as if the transformer is not doing its job, maybe because it's bad or because it's not told to switch on .
Here's what I checked... -
by LorettoHi all,
this unit comes from a samsumg LCD TV LE32C530F1W which stopped working after making a strong noise like something was exploded inside of it.
I opened it and found that fuse FP801S was blown, capacitor CP814 was completely disintegrated and MOSFET QP801S was shorted.
I replaced all of them and instead of the fuse I connected a 100 Watt bulb. Then, without connecting it to other TV boards, I switched it on, but the bulb begun to blink.
I thought that maybe the bulb was somehow interfering with the normal operation of the power supply, so I replaced it with a fuse,... -
