RCA 46LB45RQ Inverted picture after eeprom replacement.

Picked up this tv that had no backlights, which after testing, determined to be a bad eeprom. I ordered a replacement from SJ and installed it. I now have a perfect picture.....except that it is upside down. I accessed the service menu but can't find an option to flip the image. Anyone know what setting it is? I've attached a pic of the service menu options.

I don't see an option for panel id. The eeprom number did match my part number on my main.

I did but I see nothing for flipping the image. I know if I choose the wrong thing I can brick the board.

                What's under LVDS map?
Willing to help but I'm no expert.

What I should have said is if you select LVDS Map does it allow you then to select the correct panel type.

No. The options are default, 6 bit a, 6bit b, 8 bit a, etc. When I changed it to 8 bit the picture became distorted.

Maybe contact shopjimmy see what they can suggest, they maybe unaware that there eeprom does not work with the lcd panel type used in your set.

I did send them an email as well. Since it was the weekend and they were closed I wanted to see if anybody on here had any ideas in case they don't.

Was a solution ever found for this problem? I have the same issue with an RCA LED46C45RQ. I replaced EEPROM with a preprogrammed device to correct a power up issue. That corrected the original problem, but image is flipped. I have all of the same menus as shown in this post but I cannot find anything about HV flip. I presently drive the TV with a PC that I use as a DVR. I have inverted the output of that unit so I can watch TV right-side up, but all of the TV generated service menus are upside down.

Might be in service menu--general settings--mirror control, might get in service menu by pressing menu and keying in 1147.

Thanks for the input. I have been all through the service menu. Mine look just like the ones shown earlier in this thread. I can't find anything that will do it. I believe you are correct that a firmware update is the only way to go.
