LG smart tv 55UB8500-UA
Hello Everyone,
I have an LG smart t.v. that has no picture and backlight. There's audio. I went on YouTube to search on how to fix it. I came across Shopjimmy. I went through troubleshooting it and found that it "may" be the inverter. I went onto the website and ordered a kit, which included the power board, t-con board, and inverter board. I replaced the inverter board...turned on the t.v., there was picture, but that didn't last long at all...back to black screen again. With all of the frustration brewing, I took the t.v apart once more and decided to replace the power board and t-con board...thinking "why not?" I put the back cover back on and plugged in the t.v., clicked the power button on the remote, it came on! Whoo-hoo! Victory was short-lived...I tried to make selections on the remote and check the menu; nothing works from the remote! Now my t.v. is just a fuzzy white screen that I can't change channels or go on Netflix. Oh, initially it started with black streaks on the screen and the streaks started multiplying; until it became a black screen. I'm so defeated. Please help...
