Re: Samsung BN44-00506A power board dead no standby

    hello,
I do not want to start new thread and I will continue writhing in this because I have a problem with BN44-00506A too.

The T27B551 is starting and working well for about 30-60 minutes and after that it is starting to restart in cycle. I can see the samsung logo while restarting and that's all.

I opened the TV and sow that under the NT801S there is a burned mark.
I would like to replace NT8001S but not sure with what exactly. Please help.

    I am attaching board pictures.

You have several dry joints, resolder them.

like diif says atart by reflowing every joint on the power supply there are a few dry Joints visible (looks like a bad one on the bridge rectifer just to point out one.)
I have just fixed a constantly re starting samsung by just refowing the entire power supply.

          OK. Thanks.
I resolder the rectifier, transformers and other suspicion joints.
What about NT8001S. I think it has a crack and prefer to change it.
It gives me 25k at 20 oC. Is that correct?

This is already a high resistance, should be in Om. need to replace it.

Just to clarify I spoke for NT801S not NT8001S
              My mistake.
Could you give me a clue which part to use for replacement.

              EDIT: I found it: SCK-053

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                  Assuming...

Yoga3 Pro-1370 Board NM-A321 DEAD no power at all
                  by k370
                  Hi everyone,

I have a NM-A321 board that is dead, with no power at all.

When I received the laptop, the +5VPMIC line was shorted. Removing the PU3 (ISL95905) solved the short, so I ordered and replaced the ISL.

With the new ISL, the short is gone, but still no voltages at all. I measured the following rails:
                  • +3VALW
                  • +5VAUX
                  • 1.2VSUS_PWRGD
                  • 3VALW_PGD
                  • 1.05VAUX_PWRGD

Additionally, the ISL95906 (PU3) is not getting any voltage on the VIN rail.

The only place on the board where I find any voltage is on the first MOSFETs, specifically:...

[HELP] Acer AN515-55 (LA-J871P Rev: 1B) – Board won't power on after GPU investigation – Suspecting Super I/O or PCH

                  Hi everyone,

I'm working on an Acer Nitro 5 unit with the following specs:
                  • Motherboard: LA-J871P Rev: 1B
                  • Model: Acer AN515-55-59MT

                  • SNID: 03902728734

                  Initial Issue

The laptop initially presented graphic issues and driver failure (Code 43) for the GPU.

After preventive maintenance (cleaning, thermal paste, etc.), it powered on normally. We disassembled it again to inspect the GPU, reassembled...

Nikon D5 – dead, power board issue ?
                  by corrize
Hello, the DSLR has heavyly fallen. It is dead : no sign of life and display nothing.

When it worked, it always displayed a card present state on LCD display, even when the battery is empty it display a empty battery symbol.
I found a dead fuse, I replaced it and a mosfet burnt, I changed it and another fuse burned. Nothing burned after. And I can't find any short circuit anywhere, it's weird.

Now, I try to understand how it works.

There is two boards (the little one on pictures has no component) : the first is a « power board » : managing...
