How do you remove the ribbon cables from a T-con board?

This is an image of a T-con board that goes in a 70 inch Sharp LCD TV(LC-70LE632U). You can see 2 black and white connectors on the top of the board that a ribbon cable plugs into. How do I get the ribbon cables out of the connectors?
On the left side of this image close to the bottom is a white connector that a ribbon cable with a black connector plugs into. I have already pulled the ribbon cable out of the black connector as I attempted to unplug it.
I have a service manual but am unable to identify the part number for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

On the ribbon side of the black piece with your fingernail lift the black strip will pop up and you can pull ribbon cable. Might have to lift ribbon cable a little to get it out.
I assume no responsibility for any stupid suggestions I might post.

Dskall thank you very much, I removed the ribbon cables from the top connectors on the top of the board with no problem. Now when I install the new board do the ribbon cables snap into place or do I have to lift that black piece to install them?
Now, the connector on the bottom left is not exactly the same as the top. The connector on the ribbon cable plugs into the connector on the board, or at least that's the way it looks to me. As I mentioned above, I have already pulled the ribbon cable out of the connector. Looks like there might be tabs on both sides of the connector, not sure.
          Thanks

Connector on left should have tabs on each side. Squeeze them as you pull cable. When you replace you should hear them click in. The ones on top slid in then you push black strip down to lock them.

Here are the images from Shop Jimmy. Resized them, but they're still HUGE!

ALWAYS use the "Go Advanced" button, then "Manage Attachments" when using pictures in a thread. Don't link to a website or use a picture sharing service. They will lose the picture should the time expire on the sharing site, or the website changes their product links.

Uploaded pictures to the forums will be here many years from now should someone else need help.

                    Cheers!

Gentlemen thank you so much for the help. I E-mailed Shop Jimmy about the ribbon cable I need but they don't carry it and can't provide the part number for it. I have a service manual for the TV but cannot identify the part number, nor does it seem to show it either. If anyone knows where I might get one I would be most grateful.

Peter, I might have ruined the cable that goes from the T-con board to the main board. As I was attempting to get it loose from the T-con board, I pulled the ribbon cable out of the connector. I'd rather buy a new cable than take a chance, so if anyone can help me find the part number I would be most grateful.

                              Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

                              Assuming...

This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't

                              Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.
