    Question: It's FT-5537T05C08 T-COM board a substitute for FT-5537T04C29?

Hello, I have a question about compatibility of two T-COM boards that are used in worlwide LCD TV'S.

The first is the FT-5537T04C29. This board is assembled in 37" european lcd tv. A model that assemble this board is the SONY KDL-37P5600. The model of panel is T370HW02 V.B. Here's a picture:

The second one is the FT-5537T05C08. This board is assembled in the SONY KDL-37V5800 (I think it's a model sold in Russia). The model of panel is T370HW03-V3. Here's a picture:

I know that, in USA, there are two brands of LCD TV that assemble these T-CON boards. One is SANYO, with the DP37819 model, and the other is VIZIO, with the VO37LFHDTV20A model. Also, there are another models and brands...

In some webs, they say that FT-5537T05C08 is full compatible with FT-5537T04C29, and even with a lot of another models. For example:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/37-KDL-37S55...0AAOSwTA9X16Se

Can anybody confirm that both models of T-CON board are full compatible with each other?

    Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for your response.

I don't have an account at shopjimmy, so I can't get to it.

I have read both pdfs documents, and seems that they are fully compatible each other, so, this confirms it all, right?

Then, doesn't mind if I use one type or another? What I need is the FT-5537T04C29 T-CON board.

And, yes, I know the gamma problem, but the AS-15 has been replaced, and the problem stills. Maybe I will open a new thread with this problem.

Is there any way to get an account at shopjimmy? Have them stock for both T-CON boards?

      Again, thank you very much.

You have to send them an E-MAIL and ask them not to block you and then they may sell you the parts, some of the members here in Euro had to do that able to get to the website and purchase the boards. Tell them what you need, I guess they had too much problems with some buyers in EURO so they block the access.

Sorry for my insistence, but, it's OK they are fully compatible? One can replace the other? Have I to ask at shopjimmy's?
I ask it because there is a difference of price between them, so the FT-5537T05C08 is more cheaper than the FT-5537T04C29.

The original T-COM board for my faulty tv is the FT-5537T04C29.

I found that an e-mail for shopjimmy is sales@shopjimmy.com. Is it OK?

          Again, thank you.

To be sure you should contact shojimmy to verify the board sub question.
That is the correct email address.

              Re: Question: It's FT-5537T05C08 T-COM board a substitute for FT-5537T04C29?

I have written an email to shopjimmy, but for now, they didn't answer yet, and maybe is possible that I won't have an answer...

Finally, I get access to the shopjimmy website, through a proxy service, and, unfortunately, they don't have stock for both T-CON boards. It's clear that, for them, the boards are fully compatible each other.

Maybe the question now is: wich models of tv are suspect to be or not compatible? And the answer is clear: buy a T-CON board and make the prove.

              Anyway, thank you very much.

I checked shopjimmy and they don't list either board.
