Vizio P502ui-B1E No power on, led blinks once when pwr plug is inserted into outlet

Said he watched it day before, next morning nothing. I noticed that when i plugged it into the power the led blinked on just once and then nothing.
I checked the power supply and found a shorted SMD diode. It was position D9104. I had also removed a thru hole diode D9100 but it checks good out of circuit as well as Q9111. I at first thought the transistor was bad but it tests good out of circuit.
I cannot get a data sheet for this diode D9104 it has PJ4256 at top and MB810 below. I get nothing from a google search.. was hoping someone could point me to a replacement...
note- it is a rather big SMD but I think the PJ is the package but hey i don't know much about the SMD parts size identifiers and tend to get the wrong ones half the time.
I believe this single diode is the whole of the trouble...

    Thanks in advance.

Can we see straight shot pictures of top and bottom side of the board so we may be able to figure out the function of that diode?

Everything looks like it is correct... thanks! Now I just have to find one to buy..
Size is spot on in the datasheet.
        Thanks

D9100, D9104 are connected in parallel, but the one with the lower Vf will conduct and have most of the current flowing through it, it is wrong to use two diode connected in parallel, especial they are not the same spec and no balancing.
That is the 12VA standby power supply section.

Sometimes I think these companies design boards to deliberately fail.

Ordered the power supply board. Installed it and all is well.
                Thanks!
Note: never did find where I could order the smd diode. Found one i think was equal but with shipping it was 2 thirds the cost of the entire guaranteed board replacement so I went with the sure thing in this case.

                  by Tynan Dill
I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Panasonic P58V11B 8 and 12 blinks error "fix"
                  by Biruslapio
Bought this TV used not working, panel flashed briefly on power up and it was blinking 8 times, a quick look on SS board revealed a common fault on the 3uF 250V capacitors, C201 to C205 (C1620X in the service manual), the solder joints were all cracked, C201 and C205 pins were darkened and some sparking had occurred on them, C201 was split open and clearly overheated in its last hours, replaced that one and resoldered the others, 8 blinks fixed.

Also the previous owner broke the antenna connector by taking the TV out of the wall mount forgetting to unplug it, I desoldered the tuner...

                  Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...

                  Failure Symptom

No picture, just red vertical stripes. Google search shows quite common problem for these recent Vizio M series although red vertical stripe pattern may differ. Some call it "Netflix" boot screen haha.

                  Where is the short?

Panel has 4x buffer boards. Quickly found the 1/4 panel buffer board with the problem by selectively disconnecting buffer board flex cables.

Having recently fixed another Vizio with similar symptoms that was a shorted ESD diode array ( link ) Probed the ESD diode array but...
