What voltage do you have at each side of D505 & D506

D318,319,320 I had already soldered. All OK.
The resistors have to solder, too?

What about the LED driver IC (3394)? At the background connection the voltage is missing

    Code:
D203: black anode, red cathode = Impermeable (or leaktight (dont know the english word))
    D203: black cathode, red anode = 0,562 V
    Pass - OK

    Code:
D206,D207: black anode, red cathode = leaktight
    D206,D207: black cathode, red anode = 0,389 V
    Pass - OK

    Code:
D506: black anode, red cathode = leaktight
    D506: black cathode, red anode = 0,423 V
    Pass - OK

    D318,D319,D320: black cathode, red anode = 0,213 V
    D318,D319,D320: black anode, red cathode = 0,837 V[/QUOTE]

They are probably OK because you have the 12V supply.

According to the data sheet IC201 (PWM controller IC) has a minimum startup voltage of 14.5V with typical 15.5V so it looks as though that IC is OK.

Check the following components with your meter in ohms or Kohms range
    R211, R210, R220, R272, R212

Also with meter in diode mode
    D202, D208, D206, D207, D201, D209 (if in circuit)

    Finally check Q203, Q204

Without Mainboard (i had to turn the power supply): 15,2V.
    Thanks

    It should be around 380V.

What voltage do you have between pins 1 & 7 of IC201. Meter set to DC volts and measure with care so as not to short out any other pins.
Pin 1 often has a dimple in the top of the IC alongside it and the pin numbers go anticlockwise around the chip.

Well there is a fault on the smp then, have you checked the Led drive area like the mosfet and that for short circuits ?

With the mb removed do you get the 24v and 12v on one side of the diodes ?

17IPS19-5 LED TV does not start (Flashing Standby)

    Hi Guys,
I have a problem with my 32 inch LED TV. It does not start and only the red StandBy LED is flashing.

At the connection of the backlight on the black pin is only 24V, at the red pin 0V. No diode is broken. The backlight LED works if I connect a laboratory power supply. Freezing of U10 and U12 did not work.

I have attached an image with the measured voltages. It would be great if someone could help me.

    Thank you very much

    Power supply: 17IPS19-5
    Mainboard: 17MB82S-1a

    Hi all,

I have read through the Basic LCD TV and Monitor troubleshooting guides.
https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthr...956#post305956, I am no ELEC engineer but can use a multi meter and soldering iron

In the meantime I could not see any damage to any caps on the cold side of the power board, so I have replaced all of them.

Unplugged the power connector on the board, I plugged the power cable in waited...

Elitebooks (820, 840 etc. all gens) and those continuously flashing Power LED + flashing CapsLock LED
    by STKR123
As the Elitebooks (820, 840 all gens) only show flashing Power LED and flashing CapsLock (continuously) + a very soft "ticking" noise near the DC Jack,
I wonder if re-flashing the BIOS might be of any use here.

As far as I understood, steady flashing either means insufficient power or a CPU/GPU/Motherboard issue. I use the original 65watt power supply.

There are so many threads out there, but most of the solutions involve flashing codes, which I dont have or claim that you MUST use the original power supply, do a hard reset, reseat the RAM, clean the RAM,...

Sony HCD BX7700dbi CMT flashing standby
    by rabbituk
I have got a Sony HCD-BX7700dbi that isn't worth a lot but I'm keen to learn how to repair and would appreciate some help with my train of thought. The protection circuit is kicking in and the standby light is blinking. It goes into protection mode within a second of powering it on.

So far the relay on the power board that enables the main transformer clicks on and then off when powering on the unit. Looking at the schematics, the permanently enabled power rail called 'unreg sub' provides about 13.5VDC. Where the power comes into the main board on connector CN303, there is a diode...

Samsung UE43KU6400U Flashing Red Standby Light
    by Bloopeta
Have a Samsung UE43KU6400U that will not turn on, just continuous flashing red standby light.
    Power button does nothing

Have unplugged the mainboard, and backlights illuminate.
Have tried removing panel ribbon cables one at a time, and that makes no change.

With mainboard unplugged, all voltages from powerboard seem ok, but with mainboard connected, they never quite reach full voltage, and drop and raise in a constant loop (in time with click noise from mainboard.

Using backlight tester, I get 63.6v on both sides, so seems like no bulbs...

Samsung plasma - flashing standby light
    by 7ony
The TV is a 2013 Samsung plasma, model # PN60F5300AFXZA.

Snagged it up in non-working condition a couple years ago. Previous owner said that sometimes he could get it to come on after repeated tries but other than that he couldn't get it to turn on.

Personally I haven't been able to get it to turn on at all. The standby light comes on solid when plugged in, but pressing the power button results in the standby light flashing once every 4 or so seconds. No "click" noises, no light from the panel at all. Just the flashing standby light.

    No visible...
