LG 50PG10 Sound No Picture.

I have searched the forums and ran every test I found to no avail.

All voltages are good. Test pattern results in black screen. Pulling the top/bottom YSUS produces nothing. I have tested every fuse etc I can find but there is no image on this thing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Remove top Ybuffer does bottom half of screen work ?

Right what voltages have you tested ? No point just telling us they are fine need to verify. Need Vsc, Vz, Yup etc. cheers.

Vs 191v at all points
Va 63v at all points
M5v 4.96V
5v_det 5.02v
RL_ON 3.22v
M5V_ON 3.75v
all fixed voltages ie if it says 12v or 5 v or 16.5v also correct.

There are others leaving the Ysus down to the bottom board
XR 16.52v
XC 16.57v
XL 16.50V

Will get the rest after work tonight.

all the test voltages and points that I check. Was not able to find the ones Vsc, Vz, Yup

Vs 191v at all points
Va 63v at all points
M5v 4.96V
5v_det 5.02v
RL_ON 3.22v
M5V_ON 3.75v

AC_DET 4.95V
VS_ON 3.26V
AUTO_GND 3.25V

Vsc testpoints are located on the y-sustain board
Same for -vy

Should be printed directly on the board , look like your y sustain not prime the panel

On your sticker you see

N.A/ -190 / 135 / N.A / 100

According to LG these readings are standart for all plasma models

Setup / -VY / VSC / VE / VZB

-vy and vsc testpoint are on y sustain , ans vzb are on the z sustain

If you have no image but sound and the screen is same as if it turned off and the fuse on the y sustIn is not blown i bet for an blowed open mosfet like "45F122"

But can be a burned open resistor on the board

Did yku hear de sustain buzzing when the tv is on ?

These are the only refs to Vsc vy etc but ccan't find any test points labeled for them

I do hear a buzzing when there is no audio playing. Checking the points you posted in your last response shortly.

VY R201 5.21V across resistor
Vsc R202 153.0V " "
C213 135.1V on right leg

I am assuming R201 is way to low?

I agree vy should be 185 volts over there and is probably why ur tv fail , all other reading look good exept vsc , too high + 20v

Was mis-typed Vsc is 135.2V

Still checking but no luck so far finding the cause of the Vy being so low.

both buffers out:

Vy 0.01V across resistor : 20V referenced to ground
Vsc 135.2V
