there are 3 fuses on the power supply one to the right of the ic and diode you have replaced do all these fuses still test good?

ive just looked at a few photos the new diode you fitted by the ic some of the solder looks bad not flowed onto pcb? maybe re do the soldering and hopefully when that capacitor comes it will fix the issue but if it dosnt maybe re check all the power supply voltages and tell us what they all read as we may have to start back from basic voltage tests etc.

Received the new capacitor (http://www.digikey.com/product-detai...583-ND/1647864) and installed. Still get nothing. No little board with the green light, nor clicking as it did previously.
I tested the pins at the location in the pic and all got 0.

so not even standby voltage? start from the begining and check you have ac voltage going into the board

I'm assuming that the AC voltage coming from where the plug in is, via the brown and blue wires to the red connector on the board, is what I'm to be testing?

OK, I tested and one way I have 0.00 and when I switch the leads on the connector I get a varying .3 to .5

sorry i meant test the ac voltage with the tv plugged in just to make sure you have ac power to the board i think your voltage is 120v ac in your country.

Is that under that silver box that is immediately below the black power cord plug in...where the brown/blue wires are coming out?

There isn't a fuse in the cable at all. Where I plug the cable into the port on the TV it's contained in that silver box that is held by one screw (one seems to be missing) and I removed the screw and the underside of the box has a sticker that says Noise Filter on it.

im not sure as usa is different to the uk so dont want to give you wrong advice but it seems to me you havnt got mains ac voltage to those wires on the pcb did you check across the brown and blue wires in ac mode? if so theres a break somewhere between your wall socket and that connector on the tv hopefully budm will see this thread and advise us more.

Check the resistance between the LINE (HOT) prong of the AC male plug and the red connector with Brown wire, see what you get, then check the resistance between the Neutral prong of the AC plug and the red connector with the blue wire to see what you get.
That female end of the power cord does not look like it is inserted all the way in.

I plugged the tv in to the outlet and checked the voltage of the brown and blue wire via the pin slot in the red connector at the end of those wires.
The silver box with Noise Filter printed on it does not look like it easily comes apart to check for any disconnected wires/etc. But if need be I can try to get in there.

The TV turned itself off, and I haven't been able to turn it back on. The standby voltage was unstable and lower than it should be.
A weak clicking sound was coming from the transformer.

                                            Progress:

After the transformer, I measured four Schottky diodes. DM862C and DM864C diodes readings were 003 in both directions. After detaching them from the circuit and measuring them, DM864C was the shorted one. These Schottky diodes are SB550.I...

                                            Hello there,

I recently bought a Panasonic th-42px60en plasma TV second hand. The problem is :
The TV takes time to turn on from cold (being unplugged from the night for example), it tries to turn on with the clicking sound, then shuts off, then retries and so on. The TV is still working, just it takes time to boot.

From what I've read it seems to be bad capacitors on the power board, but I just want to see if anyone had the same problem with this TV.

                                            Thanks in advance.

[SOLVED] M1 MacBook Pro clicking sound logic board 5V no power on A2338 820-02020

Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).

I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

Looking on google I found this:...

Carver CM-1090 - Power relay clicking on & off, then fuse blown after 20-30 seconds of power cycling.

I gotten a Carver CM-1090 amplifier from a friend who has kept it in storage for decades. Opened it up, thick layer of dust cumulated everywhere. Vacuumed it semi-cleaned, and blown off as much as possible the remaining dust. This is a 220V version.

On initial powered up with nothing connected - it works with all the lights and button indicator lit up as pressed, etc. I then powered off, connected a CD player into the CD RCA input and powered it on. It seemed to work for a short while and when I turned the volume up and down to see the the VUs works, the power started to clicked off...
