budm, is the testing I reported following your instruction or am I doing something wrong?
If not testing incorrectly, does the odd voltages point to a faulty power board?

When the boards are all plugged in (power to main cable previously unattached) I get 31.5 at P-ON21V and 16.2 at AMP+13V.
I get this same measurement whether I'm checking the main board pins at the connector, or the connector on the power board.
I'm not familiar with tracing a board, I'm extremely novice (as you could probably tell).
I just re-read the posts and perhaps I'm not testing the "jumper"? I'm testing the pins right at each connector where the cable from main to power board connects.

With another meter I got:
Voltage between Gnd and P-ON21V jumper: 31.4v
Voltage between Gnd and AMP+13V jumper: 16.2v
Also testing of all 23 pins (with cable from power to main disconnected):

I did try another battery, although the orig was good. And got the same results. I'm trying to track down another meter...have a freebie from Harbor Freight somewhere around here.

Resistance between Gnd and P-ON21V jumper: 0 and slowly increases
Resistance between Gnd and AMP+13V jumper: 0 and slowly increases
Voltage between Gnd and P-ON21V jumper: 31.7v
Voltage between Gnd and AMP+13V jumper: 16.5v

Ugh, you’re correct. I will check the other side tomorrow. And to check the capacitor it needs to be isolated from the board correct?

Trying to help a coworker fix this tv.
Does not power on, no standby light (which I'm not positive if it even has one). Testing the power coming in to the power board I do get 120v and hear a slight hum/buzz when plugging it in.
I couldn't find a legend for the connector that goes to the video board. But when testing the pins I get (from top to bottom in pic):

2: 0
3: 0
4: 0
5: 0
6: 0
7: 0
8: 18
9: 18
10: 0
11: 0
12: 0
Unplugging the video board from power board garners no change....

I do get the same low voltages with both boards. And I highly doubt they will send me another as this one was received well over 2 years ago when I was working on another E370....

Tried canned air and freezing U408 on the back of the main board and plugging in and hit the power button and nothing. Thanks for the idea though!

Yeah I don't get any images on the screen (tried menu for example and volume up/down). I tried a second main board, which I received from TV Parts Central and same thing. I also have another LED driver board which I tried swapping out and still the same.

Could you explain how to force the powerboard on using resistors? I do have an extra powerboard and mainboard for this set (TV still reacts the same no matter which boards are installed so not sure if any are good) so I am happy to experiment as needed....

Yes, they don't fluctuate at all when I press the power button.

Vizio E370VT
Have another Vizio E370VT that won't turn on when power applied. Was told it was working previously, but now it won't turn on at all, just steady amber standby light.
Unplugging the main and trying the power button again results in the same, no response.
I feel like I should be getting some kind of reading across the On/Off and Dim. Typically I thought I usually got .1 on the others I had.

LG 50PK550 no pic but has sound
This set would have pic for a while then the pic goes out and just sound. Eventually the set would turn itself off. Sometimes the pic would come back for a while, sometimes just the sound. And now nothing.
With the TV on, I tested VA and VS and they seem OK at 59 and 203 but I get really low numbers on the VSC and VY on the YSUS....3 and 2.8 respectively. The cable is delivering 59/203 to the YSUS.
I also checked the connector from the power board to the ZSUS and all the pins going out show:

I tried freezing with no change.
I didn't test the original inverter again before removing the main. I did just put all orig boards back in, nothing. Then put the new power in, nothing. Left new power in and put in new inverter, nothing.
So I think I need to take a further look at the IC. These are them correct? Is there a way to test the pins to see if it is truly the issue? Even if the TV does not come on?...
