LG 50PK550 clicking - plasma newbie

I have used these forums previously to help troubleshoot and repair capacitors/replace boards on LCD sets, however just was asked to look at my first plasma. I've done some reading about the differences in boards but the testing of the voltages/y vs. z boards confuses me.
The TV clicks when trying to power on. The screen will flash gray a couple times then the set shuts down. I've unplugged both y and z boards and turned on the TV to only exhibit the same behavior. I've checked all capacitors for failure and there is none visible. I've checked the 3 white resistors in the upper right of the board and they all measure 10.4 ohms stable. I have also removed the board to check for broken solder points and nothing jumped out at me there either.
Beyond that I'm not sure what or how to check next. I do see the VA and VS test points but not sure how to test (from point to ground to test voltage?).

    Thank you in advance.

Attached 4 quads of the board.

EDIT: I just noticed these all rotated counter-clockwise before uploading.

      Thank you,

        Test these resistors here:

The ones that are not in parallel can be tested with your meter without removing them from the board.

Wasn't positive the resistors you were referencing in the screenshot of my pic. I tested the 2 pins pointing to in the pic below, stable at .5

Your mention of those that aren't in parallel don't need to be removed from board to be tested...does that mean that the 3 I tested (in the upper right of the board) should be removed to test correctly? I did not remove them when I tested at 10.4 each.

No I'm talking about the smd resistors.

the wirewound 10ohm resistors are fine.

Ohming across those 11 surface mounts I get nothing. No change to the display.

ok so i have no idea what you're doing

see pic, blue circle resistors are in parallel, red circle resistors are in series.

ok now put meter in ohm, and check this resistor. put black probe where ive put the black dot and red on the other.

                  post results.

                    OK, sorry I misunderstood.

I set my meter to 20k and get nothing when testing. I checked all 5 (R103-R107) and get nothing on all of them.

Resolder the lot- A very common problem..the solder cracks-not visible to the eye.

As in just those 5, or the whole board?

Resoldered all of those and still the same. As soon as I plug in it clicks on, 2 gray flashes of screen and then clicks off.

Can you jump the power supply on without the mainboard.

                                  RL-ON jumped to any 5v

Well, the only other thing i can think of there now is failure of IC301,In view the 10 ohm resistors are fine (the most common failure to cause this issue),Also check the diode nearby,it's connected in parallel with a very low ohm resistor-measuring in-circuit may look like it's shorted-remove and check the diode, the board reference escapes me on that one,but you will spot it.

                                          Hello there,

I recently bought a Panasonic th-42px60en plasma TV second hand. The problem is :
The TV takes time to turn on from cold (being unplugged from the night for example), it tries to turn on with the clicking sound, then shuts off, then retries and so on. The TV is still working, just it takes time to boot.

From what I've read it seems to be bad capacitors on the power board, but I just want to see if anyone had the same problem with this TV.

                                          Thanks in advance.

Hello, I bought this Mac from a friend, he said that it simply stop working. The MacBook looks very clean but does not power on, stuck on 5v 0.42A, and sometimes display 5V and 0A (then 0.071A and again 0A).

I opened it looking for some problem, it was not touched before for sure and the board is very clena, no spot of corrosion at all from what I can see. Voltage on multimeter of the board off the case it's the same, 5V 0.42A. But then I noticed this "clicking sound" come from the board ( I attached here the audio file).

Looking on google I found this:...

Carver CM-1090 - Power relay clicking on & off, then fuse blown after 20-30 seconds of power cycling.

I gotten a Carver CM-1090 amplifier from a friend who has kept it in storage for decades. Opened it up, thick layer of dust cumulated everywhere. Vacuumed it semi-cleaned, and blown off as much as possible the remaining dust. This is a 220V version.

On initial powered up with nothing connected - it works with all the lights and button indicator lit up as pressed, etc. I then powered off, connected a CD player into the CD RCA input and powered it on. It seemed to work for a short while and when I turned the volume up and down to see the the VUs works, the power started to clicked off...
