Change country on a Panasonic TX-50DX700B

    Hi,

So after my Samsung TV blew up and fixing it with components from the UK it blew up once again. This time I thought I would rather get a new TV then trying to fix it again and why not save a £100 by buying from the UK over Amazon.

However, I don't seem to be able to switch the TV to my home country and that's an issue when it comes to tuning it. Isn't it possible to change country on a Panasonic TV? Perhaps through a service menu? I thought it would be as simple as on a Samsung TV, but it doesn't seem to be

Panasonic TX-L42ET5B - how to change language?
    by milha
Hello! I have exchanged the mainboard TNPH0993 in my TV Panasonic TX-L42ET5E (E like Europe) for the same board which comes from TV TX-L42ET5B (B like Britain). The TV works properly, but in menu is missing the possibility to set the language and the region of use. I tried to set it in the service menu, but there it isn't possible either. In the end I upgraded firmware on the newest version for Europe models and expected it to help, but it didn't. The two items in the menu are still missing. So my question is: " How can I set this board from Britain TV model to the Europe model?" I think...

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
    by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

HP Pavilion 15-eh Board DAG7HAMB8F0 - CPU throttling to 0.4GHz (PROCHOT_EXT) and black screen

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Recapping a Denon AVR X6400h SMPS
    by Green Probe
(TLDR: It was capacitor C6519 [Koshin KZH 50V22uF] and C6515 [Koshin KZH 25V47uF] on the power supply. I have questions at the end)
Disclaimer: I'm an amateur hobbyist and will get things wrong.
Always use caution when working around mains power and high voltage capacitors!

Hey guys, I'm repairing a Denon AVR X6400h for my brother. It quit powering on after a power outage. It acted like this last time there was an outage, but after letting it sit overnight it started working again for a few years. This time letting it sit did not bring it back.
