42PT350R nedd help isolating the problem

Hi guys,

My T.V. has a clicking noise when I turn it on, but have no picture or sound.
I have tested the VS and VA voltages and while all boards are connected, I don't get the correct measurement as stated on the back of the T.V.
When I unplug all ribbons and boards only then I get the correct voltages on the PSU.
I have cheked all the capacitors and they seem to be O.K (including the ESR).
How do I pinpoint the bad board?

Use the search feature on the forum to help you find out how to diagnose shorted sustain board. As Psu voltages rise with them disconnected Psu is ok.

Unfortunately I couldn't find anything about how to diagnose shorted sustain board except of one thread that isn't help me much.
What should I wright in the search box?

Not yet unfortunately. I did found one thread that looks like the guy has the same problem like I do.
A few hours later suddenly the link that you have provided stopped working.

Hmm the search feature on here has become useless as or recent. Right have you a DMM ?

Yes I have. Plus, I have ESR meter too.
