I've searched around, but no one seems to have the same issue I'm seeing. When I turn the TV on the screen stays black but its back lite black. I don't hear any sound. The V at the bottom doesn't blink any error code, when it powers on it turns the light blue color and stays that way. Any info would be great.

Try the menu button or maybe a different input. I had the same problem with a piece of crap Sharp 60" led. I had to put it on a hdmi input that was not used so the screen would go black but with a bit of backlight. If I turned it off, it took days to get it to turn back on. The thing is in my "ready to junk" pile. -

But if I just turn the power on even if nothings plugged into it shouldn't the screen display something? Nothing happens if I press the source or menu button while its on and nothing plugged into it.Comment
