But if I just turn the power on even if nothings plugged into it shouldn't the screen display something? Nothing happens if I press the source or menu button while its on and nothing plugged into it.

I've searched around, but no one seems to have the same issue I'm seeing. When I turn the TV on the screen stays black but its back lite black. I don't hear any sound. The V at the bottom doesn't blink any error code, when it powers on it turns the light blue color and stays that way. Any info would be great. -
